Hey, welcome back to my channel! In this video, I am sharing a wonderful upcycling project with Brother Skitch! It's such a fabulous machine, and I am so excited to share how easy it is to use. In this video I show the contents of the box and talk through the Brother Artspira App, and then the process of putting the design on some denim jeans that needed some TLC.

I've had the skitch for a month now and you learn very quickly that you should not pay for the app, they made a lot of the features for using your own designs free now, AND the real issue is that the skitch is 10cm x 10cm max so only a tiny fraction of the paid designs work on it. Brother would have to add a load more smaller designs to make it worth subscribing over just buying from a small etsy seller and emailing the file to your phone.

Good tips ❤ thanks for sharing! I’m sure they’re working on loads more skitch features as well! I’ve not had any issues with design size as of yet and I’ve tried quite a lot on the plan!

@@paigejoannaa I really don't get the fuss over only using the app, this machine is such a bargain and I'm not sure now I've used the take a picture of the hoop feature that I could do without it now, if I even need to replace it with a machine with a bigger hoop it will be a brother. Couple of things, it likes a top stitching needle for metallic thread, and it will take the cheap wholesale bobbins , we've been using the white with tear away stabelizer without a single snapped thread. The bobbins you want are 60S/2 (60S2) thread weight 50WT = Brother recommend #90 thread
