I'm a 60 yr old white woman, I've followed Mr. Harvey for many, many years. He's made me laugh so hard that I've cried & YES, wet myself. When he came out sharing his faith in the Holy Spirit, I learned how to pray. I pray all day, every day, now. I'm the oldest of five, all five of us have different sperm donors, all donors were unknown to us. We grew up in the slums (white ppl. term for projects) of Indpls. In. I was a very miserable child. However, one day a black man came into our lives. Mother, at 21 was pregnant with her fifth baby, I was five years old at this time. This man never left us until the Lord took him home, I was fourteen. With in no time he had us in a home, few years later a better home. My daddy, my earth Father, was the greatest man in my life, to this day. He got us out of the slums, taught us respect for our mother, ourselves and for the world. He loved all of us unconditionally. Mr. Harvey, you sir I admire, for all you do & have done for the poor communities. But sir, you may need to look around, these poor communities, they have been blended in color for many, many years. Lose the BLACK POWER mindset, " IT'S ALL PINK INSIDE," Sir. We all need help when we're STUCK in poverty. I lost both of my brothers, at young ages to the worldly ways of the hood. "All people," no matter our color, need a role model, a mentor. If my father had lived longer, I know my brothers would still be here, with successful lives. Just an old white woman who happens to admires an old black man.

Maedros Bott , I am an ardent supporter of President Trump and I won't deny it. However, I have to give Steve Harvey a huge shout out for being totally honest, not knowing what kind of response he would get from the President. When he told the President that he not only did not vote for him but he had done all he could to keep him from being elected and then being man enough to tell this same President what his dream was for the schools and what he hoped for them to accomplish when President Trump asked him what he could do for him was solid gold! Yes, President Trump has made some mistakes and he often says things I really wish he wouldn't but he's NOT a professional Washington parasite. He only knows one way of getting things done and that's to put his head down and charge. I think Steve and he are alike in that manner. If you have a dream in your mind of what you want to see in the future, you have to be that way or the parasites and do nothings will bury you and your dream! Well done, Steve Harvey. The only thing I have ever known about Steve Harvey was that he was a great comedian and game show host and pretty cool dude. I had no idea of his background. Well I am so glad that I watched this speech. Steve Harvey will go down in my memory As one of the greatest men, and humblest of our time. This man has so much gratitude and love for his fellow mankind, and especially to help the youth of today. His quest is to help young people today find a peaceful and spiritual enriched life. I believe Steve's talk was GREAT. It had a HUGE amount of truth behind it and a LOT of good information to guide us forward. I'm WHITE, but am open to everything and I hear and understand where he is coming from. It's NOT really about race, it's all about Faith and understanding. I read down below someone commented on Steve NOT caring about Slavery, I don't believe that's true for a minute. He cares, but it's in the PAST and people who were Slaves are not around anymore, SO GO MAKE SOMETHING of yourself. STOP using Slavery as your GOTO card since you weren't there. It's time for EVERYONE to take their OWN place in the WORLD and do for themselves and HELP others. I watched the whole video and was very impressed with it. Even bookmarked it to watch again... I love Steve Harvey because he is truly “authentic.” He speaks from his heart and he is not afraid to be himself and give all the glory to the One True Living God!
