I showed this video to my seminary class of 18 juniors and seniors and gave them a 3x5 card on which to record things they liked and what needed improvement. I told them this was a draft and that our feedback was needed. Here are the averaged results: Nearly all felt the examples were good illustrations of the point. They particularly liked the wall analogy and the tree that grows in the mind. They liked the concept of the remote control, but some felt the graphics were a little dated. The scripture references with little cartoons and the scale graphic were well received, as was the raft. The number one thing almost all thought needed improvement was the music. They cited "too random, outdated, needs more of etc., but nobody was satisfied with the soundtrack. About a third felt the narration was too monotone and a bit boring. The same percentage thought the same basic point was made too many times in different ways and that the overall production could be a little bit shorter. A slightly smaller percentage mentioned abrupt transitions (especially when cutting to conference clips) and weird pauses. Two students felt it needed a more interesting opening "hook" than the remote control segment. Overall the kids liked the video and said they learned from it. As a teacher I was very thankful to have it. Hope this helps! :)

Just had a difficult class discussion regarding the gospel topic issue "Race and the Priesthood" in my seminary class. I think I will use this video and solicit feedback from my class. I think A.S.K is well explained in this presentation. I particularly liked the wall analogy.

Wow!! I love it!! Very well done. I love the graphics and wording and the scripture references in the background. So good. I love when you talk about truth line upon line--adding lines to the word truth! Towards the beginning there was a point when music started and it was a lot louder than the voice that had been talking I wanted to turn down the volume it was so loud--but not a huge deal. I would LOVE to use this video in the fall to teach my seminary class. I hope you will finish it. May I get permission to use it in my class. It is marvelous!!! Thank you for sharing your talents!

Is there a way to download this so I don't have to rely on wifi during a lesson?

Brother Fullmer, this video is just marvelous! A few observations. I like how your graphics and animations are simple. I think graphics that are too busy are distracting and detract from learning. Good to avoid too-artsy fonts with frilly gunk around the letters. Audio is good. I like how you used a dark-complected female as a teacher in one of your images -- small things like that mean much to some people, including me. Also good to remember brevity -- maybe 12 minute max for videos? God bless!

I think this is wonderful. I have a greater desire to search for truth! I can't wait to share this with my class. Can I do that? I agree with all the comments about the simplicity of the graphics. The examples are wonderful and the visuals made them so clear. Thank you. What more needs to be done to finish this?

Thanks for your comments. I'd not recommend you use this for class lessons. We have a great set of lessons for A.S.K. and they should be the priority. I am breaking this larger video into smaller clips to be used as supplements later in the year to remind and re-inforce. You can see the first finished clip on my channel. I think you'll see how much better it can be when polished up.

This is so beautifully done and I agree with all the comments regarding the simplicity of the graphics and visuals. I went to your channel to find the clips you talked about above as I really love your brick wall analogy. I only see one clip so far, having to do with the remote. I was disappointed that the clip was not the same as your longer 12 minute version. The child's voice was distracting versus the adult voice, which was much more calming. Do you plan to do the same with all of the video clips?
