Thanks Brother Fullmer. I've been serving as a seminary teacher in my stake for a couple of months now, and have been searching for ways to make my lesson prep time more effective and efficient. II think I will try your system. Of course our manuals are electronic now, so i need to figure out how to make notes in the electronic manual so I can add notes to help me remember videos etc. I will definitely try your method, so I won't have to do a power point, or write a separate word document for these daily classes. I hope this will save time with my prep. I also really appreciate the way you explain sumitize. Your format make a lot of sense to me, and I will definitely try to apply that method. Take care.

I hope you find it helpful. It has been for my teachers. Remember that you can download the PDF version of the manual and then you can use Preview (Mac) or Adobe Acrobat to mark it like I've shown.

@@brotherfullmer I saw a response to your video that suggested using the note function on the Gospel library app, and then opening the"related content" in the lesson manual, your notes will show you using this method, but I'll try playing with the your method as well.

@@brotherfullmer it appears that the only version of Adobe Acrobat that can be used for editing PDFs has a fee to use. To you know of a PDF editing program that can no fee to use?

Thank you! We almost have the same marking system. I always put a big pink box around the bold-ed Gospel Principle :-)

Brother Fullmer, I love this manner of lesson prep. But I don't understand how you annotate your lesson content in the manual. I'm using Gospel library and I know how to highlight and underline and such but I don't have a way to write comments like "just verses 4 and 5" in the margins as you did. Or are you using a PDF version of the lesson? Thank you.

Great point. Different digital formats will allow different ways of marking. I have a hard time using the mobile version because I work best with the page layout of the paper version. This video was done using the pdf version as you suggested. Adobe Acrobat (windows) or Preview (Mac) both can be used in the way described in the video. I have a teacher that will mark her mobile app and then, on a piece of paper, out line the lesson with any notes for the scripture blocks. I hope this helps.

I use the digital app on my tablet to tech and if you have the app show 'related content' you can do the marking and attach a note to a highlight (marking) and write your note there. I use a system very similar to Bro Fulmer's system and it works well.
