This was just the demo level that they put together for E3. This was way before the final game shipped. Parts of this level are recognizable in the finished game though.

This is the MAIN reason why I LOVED this game immediately :) The presentation, the love Randy expressed in the demo, Col. Antal's voice and explanation of military tactics :) Gearbox, WE NEED a remake/remaster of the original games and the release of Brothers in Arms 4

This was just a demo level that was used during E3 to demonstrate the gameplay. Parts of it are in the released game, but most of it was only created for this demo.

despite all the shortcomings in technical implementation it is my favorite game about the world war 2, especially for some reason often pass that is earned in blood,) despite the fact that she was less elaborate and terribly slow in 2005, even on good computers. gearbox , thanks for these games

This level doesn't exist. It was a demo level created only for E3. There are bits and pieces of this demo level that you can find in the retail game, though.

The M1 Carbines used in the demo are the full stock variant not the folding stock M1A1, These were actually used by paratroopers during World War II because regular Carbines were borrowed from the Army.

The BAR was a good weapon although it was heavy and cumbersome, One of FB friends Kevin Wolff was a BAR gunner with 25th Infantry Division in Korea 1951-1952 and used it against Chinese troops

i know exactly what you're saying...i think i felt that way when alan and garnett were KIA...and when hartsock lost his finger...losing men in this game has a different appeal as oppose to losing AI "help" in those other WWII games

Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood are available for the PC, PS2 and the original XBox. The sequel that's supposed to be coming out soon (Hell's Highway) will be available for PC, PS3 and XBox 360.

The graphics don't look up to date because this is the first BiA game that came out back in 2005 (Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30). So the graphics are almost 3 years old. The new game that's coming out is called Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway. ...and the graphics look awesome for that game.

It's not a matter of your machine's performance. The way the original BiA games were programmed just isn't compatible with the way Vista was programmed. Even if you had the most powerful computer in the world, you would still need a software patch to make BiA work on it. And as far as I know, Gearbox Software isn't planning on creating that patch anytime soon.

I was not able to get BiA:RTH30 or BiA:EiB to work on my Vista machine at all. I've also read in several forums that those two games don't support Vista. I would be very interested if you have any pointers for getting them to work on Vista.

No, as far as I know the first two BiA games won't work on a Vista machine. The new BiA game will, though (Hell's Highway).

This was just a demo for E3. Unfortunately, it's pretty common for E3 demos to oversell... Still, I loved the final version of the game that was released anyways.
