One thing you have that some of these guys don't is authenticity, you're not trying to pretend you're still a gangster. Much respect for that.

Love the old school stories! I grew up in a rough neighborhood in East San José California and my uncles were reformed gangsters as well grew up, listening to all the war stories and loved it. They have both passed now however, I love listening to these old war stories. Thanks a lot Anthony for the little entertainment. Also, there’s a saying ….”try Walking in my shoes that you will stumble in my footsteps” for those who have something to say about your decision. Have a great weekend.

Ok, from the perspective of a friend, you rock, sir. I've been around for awhile. I was readin' up what I could find on goodfellas' since around 1980. I've watched many documentaries as well, long before there was the internet. Since it's advent, of course, I've also seen a load of KZbin videos. IMO, Michael Franzese's show is the gold standard. Classy guy, classy show, done with respect and passion. You are right up there, because, you are straight up. No perpetrating. Awesome! You talk respectfully and show a lot of class by keepin your head up. Well done, my man, stay after it!

The thing I like about your channel is you describe what it's like to have been that kind of gangster on a day-to-day level, and if you're not a captain or above, nothing is given to you; you have to eat based on the fish you catch. It's also nice to get that other point of view about the Gambino family. You can straighten it out if I'm wrong, but I think JG killing DB shook up a lot of people who felt like John wanted what DB had, and DB wasn't wrong to be a little afraid of JG. Looking forward to more of your stories, and your sub numbers getting higher.

I’m a new subscriber I love listening to mob talk. I not mad at you for cooperating. Nobody can judge another mans choices who hasn’t walked his path or been in his shoes. I’m black but I love italian culture and mob stuff. I was in federal prison too. And I missed my kids early years and that’s painful, I never judged ppl and I understand every case is different, and my motto was this.. there are 2 types of ppl in federal prison.. those who told, those who wish they told, and the only reason some ppl ain’t cooperate is because they didn’t have the opportunity to, or they wanted to but they worried what ppl would think.. but those who do are actually brave.. because to be ostracized is a sad feeling.. anyways keep doing ur videos, thanks for the gotti story

There is no point in having regret for ratting; it is what it is, and no point in making excuses! The main thing is now you get your story out there to prevent the younger generation from getting involved in a life with no future! Whether people like it or not, Gotti and others are a part of New York's history, and it is good to hear the stories from people who were a part of that history. Helping people is much more rewarding!
