I saw the band with Terry Kath 8 times, and they were phenomenal. Being a trumpet player in the high school band, they were our musical heroes. When Terry left us too soon, the whole dynamic of the band changed.

When this was played in its entirety, back then, it was probably a bathroom break song. Bars with dance floors would play "Make me Smile", you grab a girl, go dance, and they would switch to "Color my world", you could keep her on the floor, and switch to a slow dance.....Nostalgia...OMG! I remember listening to Chicago and couldn't get enough of their music. This line up, with Terry was the best IMO... what a great guitarist. Certainly Hendrix knew how good he was on guitar.

Masterpiece! Thanks for sharing this great performance. IMHO, Chicago is one of the best bands of all time. I also agree Terry Kath is an underrated guitar player but also a fine singer. Rick Beato has done some breakdowns of their songs and is also a big fan.

There is a group of Russian musicians called Leonid and friends and they play the music of Chicago blood sweat and tears and others and they are fantastic. Highly recommended.​@@glennandadriansrocktalk
