Thank you, Glen and Adrian for your reaction. I really appreciate your kindness in accepting my suggestion. Recently, I found this same video again with the title: "Take a Pebble - Greg Lake of ELP - Live in Zurich 1970" so the place and year are uncertain. So, regarding their age, Emerson would be 25 or 26 years old, Lake 22 or 23 years old, and Palmer 20 or 21 years old. In this video, you can see the complete confidence they show in their musicianship and their ease in moving between various genres of music and improvising. In his autobiography, Lake wrote that they did not know how long a show would last because of the improvisations, but that they ended up adjusting to 2 hours without explicitly measuring it. Also, that they never considered being part of a movement, they were simply a band. Palmer wrote in the book's foreword, under the band's name, that they practiced many types of musical genres and never considered themselves a progressive rock band. Another thing that can be seen in the video is that, unlike most rock bands, they did not have their roots in the blues, but in the European musical tradition, classical music and English folk, in the case of Lake, as well as in jazz Not on electric guitar either, but on piano, keyboards, bass and drums, although Lake plays acoustic and electric guitar on some songs. It is truly exceptional to find a band with such a wide spectrum, that can play dense rock like Tarkus or Take a Pebble in this video. Currently, bands use the click track, which, although it makes them play tight, prevents them from the complete freedom that ELP shows in this video. There are many other notable things, such as Lake's voice (one of the most beautiful in rock in my opinion), Palmer's "old school" style on the drums with his ability to play delicately (or be a beast if he was necessary), or Emerson's natural exhibitionism (in fact Emerson titled his autobiography "Pictures of an Exhibitionist").

ELP was a major influence for me in growing up. ELP, Yes, Jethro Tull. I'll be interested to see this.

There is a lot of "Tank" from the same album in it as well. I heard also some parts of the "Hoedown" from "Trilogy". I'd suggest, to listen you guys to "Tarkus" from E,L & P. Thaaaaaaaaaat's a marvelous album as well! Greetings from Germany from the silver fox, David 😉🦊

A few videos to check out, the Beat Club version of Knife Edge from 1970 is worth a look and listen. The Keith Emerson interview on the short lived Oscar Peterson show on CBC is one of the best things you will see. Keith treats the Canadian Jazz legend with deference, but Oscar seems truly intrigued by Keith. I can't seem to find a complete song, but there is video out there of Keith sticking knives in his organ. As an added bonus, there's also video of Keith playing America (from West Side Story) with the his earlier band, The Nice. The only video I've seen of Greg Lake with King Crimson is the much played 21st Century Schizoid Man clip from Hyde Park. I'd kill to see the complete video of that.

Thanks, Tom. We love Beat Club videos, but they always get blocked on us. King Crimson aggressively blocks and sometimes also strikes channels for using their videos (three strikes and your channel gets taken down by YT). Just some issues we work around ;) The Oscar and Keith clip sounds intriguing, and I'll keep your other suggestions in mind and see what I can find.

The sense of humour was a welcome surprise, but I haven't ever gotten into ELP because there is a big hole in the arrangements where the guitar ought to be, and I can't overlook that. I don't have any ELP recommendations, but there is some Belgian footage of Deep Purple shot a year or two earlier that's very interesting.
