They both start with the classical guitar! Miyako opens the song on classical guitar, then Midori takes over the lead, and Miyako changes too chords , before going to the keyboard.

Once they set their minds to writing an actual ballad, they never held back... This starts like LED ZEPPELIN, goes through SCORPIONS territory and the Gary Moore domain, visits the EAGLES for a bit and reaches the climax in Jimi Hendrix land - all the while remaining recognizably and quintessentially LOVEBITES. Great lyrics from the heart, seeming to hold every listener close and reassure them, complete the picture. This is truly many things and one - a sign of epochal talent, respectful of its forebears, but heading for the future.

The first time Miyako used a white piano (Roland electronic piano) was at a concert in February 2020. That electronic piano was a rental item, and Miyako first touched it at a rehearsal at the venue on the day of the concert, where she had a hard time getting used to the feel of the keys. Incidentally, at the Tokyo concert in 2021, she played the electronic keys and keytar in addition to the grand piano that may have been installed at the venue, and since 2023 she has used a white electronic piano.

The only other LOVEBITES "E" song (ballad or partial ballad) that you haven't done yet (you did Edge of the World) is "Empty Daydream", which was also played here in 2019.

One of the 3 epic "E" songs (Edge of the World and Empty Daydream). Miyako flows from acoustic to piano to her "Gary Moore" solo while Midori shows off her acoustic skill before returning to her shredder status. Asami shines with her lyrics and vocals throughout. M&M practice together away from the band and really compliment each other while maintaining their polar opposite approaches. They chase perfection and while impossible to hit they come as close as humanly possible.

Instant love for Asami's performance here, Love the use of 4 guitars plus the piano, really adds to the atmosphere. This song may make you cry for sure. Asami's voice, layered with Miyako piano and Midori's acoustic, just sends shivers down my spine.

To me, this is best all-time power ballad in metal. Those guitars sing and cry, with nice piano and also it showcases Asami’s vocals. I always love when Miyako plays the piano. “Empty daydream” (live) is another excellent song from this same concert.
