They have an inner energy that’s uncanny. They’ve mentioned before that growing up together they could go to the basement and practice whenever they want. And it’s obvious they did. A lot. The lyrics are a take on the state of the world and social media, don’t be a disciple. Don’t believe everything you read and hear. There are two parts, Dany and plays the part of the manipulative overlord telling us “the sun is your enemy today.” Then the second verse has Pau singing “the sun is my enemy today.” So there is more to the song than may appear at first, and plenty of room for speculation. From their earliest compositions they were always urging us to think for ourselves. They really hit on every level. Thanks, nice reaction.

Check out their Tedx Talk from 2017. They play 3 songs and all three girls talk between songs about their journey and inspiration. Dany is 17, Pau is 15 and Ale is 12.

The Warning’s beginning is fully documented for everyone to enjoy. An example of how tight they are as sisters. There is a video of Ale playing her bass during a sound check. Paulina the drummer pushed Ale’s right hand out of the way, so Pau played the bass with Ale’s hand on the fret. Then Dany joined in and replaced Pau. Ale just sitting there playing with the fret while Pau and Dany took turns! In another video Dany ,instead of singing, told Ale “you sing this time.” In an acoustic performance Pau sang the song that Dany sings on concert. They are so tight together!

All I can say these sisters are on a whole different level. There are no female bands that I know of that play rock like this. This is just good old-fashion rock and roll.

While you can never go wrong with any of their live performances, I would recommend checking out the music video for their song XXI Century Blood as a key milestone in their development as a band. It is from their first full-length album released in 2017 that was written when the girls were just between the ages of 12 to 17 (written by THEM I should say!). The video is cinematic and impactful and the song has a strong message (as most of their songs do). Actually has a similar message warning about the dangers of social media and our addictions to screens as they are warning here in Disciple. HIGHLY recommended!

On July 31st they will be playing Wacken , on Aug 1sy they will be playing Pol-rock. They are on the main stage at both shows. Average attendance Wacken 80,000+, Polrock is 275,000 a day. Most bands don't play to that many in a year.

Wow - that's getting right up there with _US Festival_ numbers; by far the largest concert crowd I've ever been in. I'm guessing "Pol-rock" is in Poland?? Man, people there must be stoked!! Sounds like an absolute blast!

Anything from Dakota Bar is awesome. It’s kind of the showcase of their first album. I will suggest ‘Black Holes’ to give you a very different perspective on the band but also proof that their writing has always been as just as deep & exceptional as it currently is. (Have tissues handy, they’ve been known to crush more than a few grown men)

If you get a chance check out the interview with Allison Hagendorf. They explain in-depth and how the sibling magic makes the band really tight. It is a very informative interview.

One that often get missed out is their storytelling concert at Agua Fria, Monterrey in 2018. They talked about their journey till then. Everything - Disney, Glee, Voice of Mexico, AGT, backstory of their instruments, the hate they received, etc. - were discussed by the sisters. Its one of the most fascinating concerts by The Warning. The playlist is available on The Warning Army YT channel who were kind enough to put in English captions for us to turn on subtitles while watching this show.

Something earlier...try Copper Bullets from the Dakota live performance. It's a song they wrote when they were around 15 years old or less.

Since “Enter Sandman” is by far their most reacted to “early cover”, it would be nice to see you react to “Resistance” from the same era but with Dany on both keys & strings while Ale is switching from pick to fingers occasionally! Pau’s “drum cam” coverage is top notch and easily highlights her incredible talent at this early stage of their career !

I have been following The Warning since mid 2015 and have been saying since 2018 that The Warning would one day be recognized as the greatest power trio of all time! I love the fact that no two songs sound alike, yet they have created a unique sound that is unmistakably their own. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

Awesome reaction! If you want to go earlier, may I suggest Pau's cover of "Creep". Made during the pandemic, Pau issued a Instagram challenge for her fans to pick a song for her to perform. They chose "Creep" and several hours later, this is what she came up with. Also, they have acoustic versions of several of their songs; my favorite being "Sinister Smiles".

*Disciple* *Disciple* is one of their songs about social media and how it affects people in ways they don't even know... Dany (guitar) sings the part of the "leader"... Pau (drums) sings the part of a "follower", "disciple", or maybe "soldier"... basically they're speaking about how people take what they see on social media and believe it, whatever it is... in this way, certain groups out there control the narrative and what is happening... i believe this is a cynical song telling people to think for themselves and not believe everything they see or hear... the OMV for *Disciple* was shot during the pandemic, all the extras in the video are IRL The Warning Army members... the wearing of the various masks works for the video as well as acknowledging the pandemic being a thing at the time of recording the video... there is the dichotomy of the masks, themselves... the "disciples/soldiers" wearing just cloth mouth and nose masks while the higher ranked overseers are wearing full face filter masks... and then we have DPA/TW playing the upper echelon, the untouchables, with no masks at all... this ranked depiction of status makes a huge statement about social media in addition to what is already being said in the song... *XXI Century Blood* , *Z* , and *Kool-Aid Kids* are three other original DPA/TW songs that also speak about social media... the 1st one, XXICB, has an OMV that tells a story... it and the director were nominated for (and won?) several awards when it was released in 2017 when Dany was 17, Pau was 15, and Ale was 12 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

TedX talks are a must for reactors going through this journey, specially the one from 2017 which is the one that turned a lot of us into “disciples” !

From drummer Paulina - Disciple is a song about social media, right? and how opinions are bought in social media and are fed to us in a way that we don't even know and how by like feeding ignorance and cultivating hate, like people gain a lot of power and money So that's what Disciple is about 🗣 Great reaction guys! 👊☺️

Thank you gentlemen for returning to The Warning. Love the insight, I always like seeing when people realize the ladies don’t write fluff lyrics. The song is about conspiracy types who stay up late into he night staring at their computer screens looking for answers that align with their own beliefs and self fulfilling prophecies, thus they shall remain in their space of ignorance. The, kill the man strip the power from their hands, isn’t their command or viewpoint, but rather the disciple’s own belief.

This song is often considered a sequel to their song XXI Century Blood and is about blindly following or believing everything that you see or hear on social media. It's about not using your own brain and thinking for yourself or looking around and seeing the world with your own eyes instead of through others. Their song XXICB is simply incredible and shows amazing insight into what has become a major epidemic of the modern society, you should really check out the official music video for the song it is really great, with the visuals clearly showing the tale they want you to hear.
