Hi Brothgar, Have you consider to convert slime into algae instead of growing mushrow? With the algae distellery you could recycle the polluted water to produce more polluted oxygen and use the alge to feed fish. Sorry for my poor english. Great video

Clever auto bottle dropping technique. You can send another signal to that door from something like a pressure sensor if you wanted to turn it off through some more automation.

Omg, what crazy timing! I just put "make an infinite polluted oxygen chamber for puft farm" on my ONI to do list a couple days ago, and I've been dreading coming up with a design for it. I haven't started the video yet, but thanks for this!

@@brothgar I've actually got my puft farm up and running, with quite a lot of pufts! The start of it was painfully slow though. The problem is they're consuming more polluted oxygen than can be produced 💔 But this should help fix that problem!

I used a similar system to mass offgas polluted dirt, though my goal was making clay, and I just dumped the oxygen to space. I found the water I was using tended to be deleted over time as the dirt offgased. I used a hydro sensor and a timer/and combo to add 10kg of water whenever the liquid went down to sub 100g, and a second hydro sensor with a mini liquid pump to remove if over 1.6kg.

Recently, I applied the same system behind the separation of hydrogen and oxygen used in the electrolyzer to deal with a vent of hot, polluted oxygen. The dupes made 5-spaces tall room with 2-spaces tall corridors.The one above filled with deodorizers and below it, a gas pump that only worked with a atmo sensor. Maybe something like that could be used to capture only the oxygen

You made an error about the puft princes. Having one by itself does not make more princes, and having two is no different than having one. A puft prince always tries to make regular pufts so you only need one of them penned with the regular pufts to get the squeaky and dense, and you only want one since they are much less efficient than the others. Regular pufts also almost always lay one regular puft egg before they die even when not penned with a prince, so you don't have to worry about a prince just to maintain their population.

I would use a bead pump with the bottles just stacked on a mesh tile, then you can cycle the same small packet of water and get some massive suction to constantly remove the O2. Could also automate the liquid output to control the rate of production if desired.

You should try a "gas elevator" prevent over pressurization above the pH20 bottles.

With the space out DLC, this is a lot simpler to set up. You can just feed them with pdirt which you can just get from arbor trees. It's viable to run the trees tame since burning ethanol will produce almost enough pwater to feed them and you can distillate slime to make up the difference.

I am not food at draining but what if you used the oxygen filters and pufs to turn polluted infected oxygin from a vent to create printable oxygen for your base or rockets. You could use shipping rails to bring it to your base and possibly us it for cooling.

For a meat spot you can use a mesh door above a water pool. The stuff will die and the dupes can pick up the food through the mesh door as well as walk over it. Should be faster than them waiting that moment for the door to open.

I kindof managed to create a fully automatic kitchen, food stored in vacuum, which occupies 9X4 tiles (excluding walls)... Ingredients are sorted out automatically and food transported out automatically, as well as manually delivered without contsantly storing and redelivering by the dupes Except for the delivery of water, that would be 12 (9+3) tiles to make a nearby water pitcher. Perfect for a 16x4 schematic room

Hi Brothgar, do you know if the bottles can be cooled and do they freeze ? If they can be cooled and they don't freeze, you could cool them below the freezing point of oxygen . May be they will produce liquid oxygen without any energy.

14 minutes in, bruh you just needed a tiny bit of carbon dioxide in that hole to get the same effect. you over engineered it. If you put a row of 5 algae terrariums on air tiles they will pop your eardrums. Its the mechanic when theres a different gas near. Its the same mechanic for infinite water/gas storage. You just need anything that not polluted oxygen to pass over the bottles. a deoderizer probably would have worked too. Love your videos, keep it up!
