Broughtonia Orchids: Special edition with Claude Hamilton

I have started a new series called “Native orchids of Jamaica.” Here I will be featuring various native orchids over time
In this video you will see where I visited a renowned orchid breeder of Jamaica, Claude Hamilton. I actually visited his Orchid nursery and highlight some or work he does with our native Broughtonia orchids. You will native Broughtonia orchids from other Caribbean Islands as well as some of the hybrids he develop. Come along for the ride with me guys as I really learnt a lot from him.

i met him at the Tamiami orchid show lasr week . wish i had seen this video would have come home with a Broughtonia Orchid . next time. learn alot about. will look out for him at my next big orchid show bought a few orchids from his booth. always supporting my Jamaican people. I had the chance to meet Mr. Hamlin at the Redland Orchid festival in Miami atleast 15 years ago. I had a red one. He's a very kind man. Did you get any orchids while you were there? If so are you going to do a show & tell. They are so pretty. Ty
