Check and see if the head has been shaved. If so compression will be high, and you may need a race/93 fuel mix or higher. Or it's to fat on the main jet as it bogged at full throttle go down one size and try it. Good content!

My banshee is a 521 stroker. But I built it well so these a reliable daily powerhouse. But on stock bikes. I run em just stock, with pipes. That's it. No porting or crazy shit unless professionally done. A good cleanup port does make more power

Ya that's deff a China stator. Can tell looking through the flywheel. That's deff a problem. Not sure if u have one, but u should get a leak down tester for all ur 2 stroke tunes. Make sure they sealed up. Port job is trash, they r mix matched cylinders so one cylinder had the port job, they blew up one side, used a random cylinder and tried to match the port job. Whoever ported the cases though did nice work, case porting isn't an issue. Also with your reeds, u should also look from inside the Reed cage out, and if u can see light at the tip of the pedals, then they aren't sealing proper on the down stroke of piston. So just flip the Reed pedals over. And use a dab of loctite on the Reed pedal screws. I always yamabond my Reed gaskets too

I would go back the same way with new pistons and cylinders and match the port on the bottom case to the new cylinders or go new stock cylinder and pistons and port the cylinder to match the case port and it will my good power

Measure the ports to see if it ported or not.. It might just be some back yard clean up “port work”to the intake reed area..If they check out have them bored to the next size up,I use Summit off-road there down there in Florida I ship him my cylinders all the way from New Hampshire..He might have some Cylinders ready to go also.. Edit… his web site is showing stock cylinders with wiseco pistons in stock..

Had similar issue on a 4mil banshee wit pwk carbs, pwk carbs have a jet block gasket that needs to be changed, if not bike won’t idle and run bad.

My first guess would be jetting because it bogged wen u tried to get open, most likely to rich on main, it idles so pilot is decent, but u still gotta check compression and for leaks, and the pwks are they the bigger 28mm? U know banshees sensitive af, no air leaks will have ur jetting fucked

Listen everybody performance is performance always good and expensive but race parts are meant for racing bikes and if you're not racing you shouldn't ride it everyday because that's not what it's for and if any point you should go over your bike every time you finish a ride change the oil every 12 hours if you're riding a dirt bike and four-wheeler

Those cylinders look bad, whoever did the port job doesn't know what they were doing. One thing I do first always is check the compression. The thing runs, so it might just needs pistons and rings. Hone it if you can, get new Pistons, rings, check the ring gap. Put it back together, call it a day.

who ever builds a custom race banshee should be responsible for tuning it for the life of th build. i would never want to work after someone else custom built engine. especially a sloppy build that port work and helicoil looks terrible.
