Needed this video 10 yrs ago. Night before big snow storm in pa..doesn't happen too often..luckily I fired up my 660 raptor to make sure it was ready and thought it was good until carbs started leaking. No way to get any parts. I took n apart and cleaned em several times. I was up all night researching on the forums until about 3am found a mention about the seat o ring. I didn't know they existed..didn't have any of course so had to go to sleep but go up early went to bros shop got him to meet me to open up and grab an o ring bout an inch came down at this point. Got home threw it together in perfect time to go out riding on the roads all night..was great time

I ride my Banshee year round, especially in the winter (lots of warm clothes=lots of crash protection without the sweat, lol). Powercore 2 exhaust, Trinity 2 into 1 high rise carb setup (absolutely bulletproof, rarely need to use the choke and starts good, even in cold weather), Cool Head w' just the right amount of mild cylinder porting, ALL brakes in working order w' triple rate front shocks for control and safety (ALWAYS HAVE BRAKES EQUAL TO H.P. OUTPUT). With my 300+ lbs. and 22" tall GBC Dirt Devil mud tires out back (a snow game changer), I was going right up some hills that 4x4 ATV guys were struggling with. HUGE snow roosts and just gone. My Banshee has taller gearing in the sprockets and with the taller rear tires, I don't even shift in to 6th gear until 55+ mph. Those big mud tires are surprisingly stable at very high speeds. All you sport quad guys should stop parking your quad for the winter and get you some 22" GBC Dirt Devils for the rear and a pair of handlebar mitts (around $20 and another game changer), and ride all year long.

Good fix bud. I believe you can unplug the kill and ignition switch to rule out. Test/ohm oem stator use it if in spec. Definitely going to be lean. Running stock Jets with aftermarket K&N filter and cold Temps will need to be jetted/tuned. Quick test to check needle seat is to connect tube to fuel intake and blow through tube (using your mouth and holding float) while turning carb upside-down allowing float to close, no air should pass if ok. Set float height to spec. Oh and I didn't notice if the tors delete idle screws were installed. Don't adjust idle using throttle cable.
