Brown Ceiling Spots - What Are They And What Should You Do If You Have Water Stains?

Ceiling above shower has big brown/yellow areas but only when showering then it dries in 15-20 minutes and ceiling is back to its usual color. Almost feels like its from the condensation. What could be a typical cause of this and how to fix it? I should note that a plumber came by and said there was no moisture present on the infrared so unlikely a leak.

I get that you run a roofing company, but brown ceiling spots can also be a product of attic condensation due to insulation/airflow issues.
