Hey, I'm planning on filming with my drone on Sunday at Titterstone, Clee Hill. I was wondering if you had to get permission to film? I know it's 'open country' under the provisions of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and thereby freely available to walkers but wondered if I needed to get permission from anyone to film? Thanks for your help in advance! Best, Katie

Hi Katie, I cannot give you legal advice, but what I can say is that I've flown my various drones and filmed (on a hobby basis) over Titterstone Clee Hill on numerous occasions (I live closeby) and have never been challenged by any official. So for personal use I'm sure you will be OK. If you intend to use the footage commercially however there may be additional requirements.
