I think my Brian Brown Yeager is the only other knife to really make that hollow grind sound.. Really hope to be able to get one of these

I just got on the August list. Guess I gotta pick milling pattern now. Kinda like pattern 1 best. Would probably be cool with no milling at all too but don't think that is an option. No ano colors I guess this month fine with me not sure I wanted it anodized anyway. A black blade would be cool though. Maybe I can send the blade and hardware and clip to get DLC after or to REC for Cerakote.

Kinda wish he’d have put the button on the front side but I’m definitely going to pick one up soon. I tried on the last drop but wasn’t quick enough

I find it just as intuitive and easy to use as the Smock with the show side button.

It’s a really sick knife but I mean it’s a compression lock lol it might be a stronger one but it’s pretty much an advanced compression lock. Lovely knife

I kind of hate you for helping get this one on more people's radar. I know Craig deserves it, but shit man, these drops have been absurd. I've been a die-hard Craig Brown fan since the Servo. Frustrating to have the FSD slip through my fingers on every single drop so far.

Honestly, sometimes I also hate me for doing videos. I have shot myself in the foot numerous times by turning people onto certain custom makers.

Don't be stingy LOL they have been ridiculous but at the same time $900 for that knife is way too much, the only blade steel option to consider on a knife of this caliber would be 20cv in my opinion and at $900 there aren't going to be alot of people jumping at it

@@GerstBladeworks .... his last drop sold out in 30 seconds on his website, and many people were upset to have missed out on getting one. Welcome to the dark side.

Sooner or later they will be available like the rest of his knives. There's only hype behind it because of the new locking mechanism. It's not even a fantastic looking knife. Looks awesome closed. And I like the fuller and love the milling on the scales. Beyond that I'm all set. But I'm not even a folder guy. Fixed blades any day of the week for me.

@@matthewking7191 Pretty sure in the last email that went out the other day said only 300 were going to be made and he planned on probably having that finished up by Oct. I got on the August list a half hour or so ago. Now just to pick milling pattern. I don't really care which steel I get. Since the 20cv is limited its fine with me if its 154cm. I see people moaning about the price and having 154cm. Its a semi custom. Most of my custom folders aren't exactly super steels lot of them are lesser then 154cm since I have a handful that are AEB-L, Nitro V, and n690 then some s35vn and 154cm, rwl34. Those are some of the steels that seem most popular with custom and semi customs. Guess they are probably easier for the makers to machine and some of them you can get really nice finishes on. Most people aren't going to notice any difference using 154cm to 20cv anyway really other then 154cm should be easier to sharpen when its needed but how much are these expensive knives really getting used anyway.

Anybody know the wait time on this knife?
@jasonrogers12522 жыл бұрын
He’s doing drops every Friday through April. That being said, you definitely need to check out with Apple/Google Pay
@treebossmike88182 жыл бұрын
@@jasonrogers1252 thanks for the info. No PayPal or regular credit card huh?
@jasonrogers12522 жыл бұрын
Those options are available, but they sell in literal seconds, like 6 seconds. No time to use PayPal or type credit card numbers

@@jasonrogers1252 so you have to be quick to jump on the site when you get the notification of availability, even quicker to make your purchase, then keep your fingers crossed that everything went through to get your knife. Damn! Too much for me that’s why I got out of trying to get every PM2 sprint run and dealer exclusive. Now it’s Shaman’s but I hate having to purchase anything like that.
