Brown Trout fishing in Ireland, first session of the year

I have been absolutely dying to get back to the rivers and finally was able to get back for a short session.
As far as short sessions go it was a pretty great one, topped off with a nice fish for my local river!
Really looking forward to spending the next few months chasing these Trout!

Nice vid buddy back to the days of old for me I had a river at the bottom of my garden I could cast into the part that flowed past it fished it everyday as a kid biggest I had out was a pound and a half rainbow lots of small browns the good old days I used silverfoil rapped round a single trout hook as a lure keep these vids coming fella 🎣👊👊👏👌

Nice! I am looking to catch my first ever brown tomorrow here in Canada. I live in the middle of the country and brown trout are rare, only a few stocked lakes. That is exactly what I will be hitting. A small stocked lake a few hour's drive away from home. It wont be from a pristine creek like this one, I'll be still water fishing. Casting and possibly on the fly. Cheers!

Shakes the dynamic I the spinner. Im sure it could be engineered but standard spinners shake with a single hook. Barbless is recommended but not essential.

i love losing lures my little spate stream is paved with silver and gold from lost mepps!! great start, id 2 smalls browns and a quarter pound sea-trout but theres a few fish out in the tide again, do you just target trout in the fresh mate?
