It's Saturday, the weekend, so I decided to show you what a cool rug was put into washing yesterday 😀 It is a vintage wool rug, in which the dye is already released, but I managed to stop it with the help of an "acid bath". I invite you to watch 😍

I enjoy all of the variety of rugs you get that I would also like to have in my house and then there are some that can continue to live with their owners, LOL...so satisfying watching a rug get cleaned, makes me want to find a rug cleaner for one of mine in my area...just hope they don't film it as the dirtiest rug they've ever cleaned, ha ha!

I like how thorough you are and your attention to detail. Some rug cleaners on KZbin go too quickly, miss spots because they don’t follow a pattern well, and end up having to do extra to get the rug clean because of this.

What a treat...31 minutes. After a long day due to the washer spinning out...SPREADING WATER ALL OVER THE PLACE...making a trillionhundredmillion (that’s a number, my great nephew said so) meatballs that my great nephew helped make for a birthday celebration tomorrow, extra cleaning due to a room that a tornado went through and being exhausted...it’s nice to see this video first thing when I climbed into bed. Well nit first thing, first was two bedtime stories for my best friend/great nephew...he’s off to his own bed now and I’m happily watching you clean this rug! 😍😘🥰❣️🥰😘😍 EDIT: This rug just kept giving dirt and giving dirt and giving MORE dirt...as though it was a Kardashian!! 🤣😬🤣

More than likely both. This looks vintage and they usually tend to have fugitive colors. Especially reds and browns. They tend to run the most.

What is an "acid bath"? My favorite part is when Jakub turns the carpet from back to front and squeegees off the water and suds. So much dirt from the underside coming to the top and then the slow motion showing the amount of dirt still in the carpet.

The water should come out clear at the end, but great job otherwise. Pleasure to watch. I would flash it 4 times more at the end with water from both sides lifting the carper half way, flipping it half way over and give it a good flash with fresh water. Cos I feel there is 20% dirt/light brown water still there at the end.
