Brownies with chocolate frosting.
It is one of the most popular homemade cakes. Easy to make, very tasty!
Ingredients:
Dark chocolate (50% cocoa) -160g
Butter - 100g (at room temperature)
Vegetable oil - 80ml
Sugar - 300g
Milk - 100ml (at room temperature)
Eggs - 4 pieces (at room temperature)
Cocoa - 60g
Flour - 200g
Baking powder - ½ teaspoon (5g)
Vanilla extract - one teaspoon
Salt - ½ teaspoon
For the glaze:
Chocolate - 120g
Whipped cream - 100g
Melt the butter and chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. Add the oil, sugar and milk.
We obtained a homogeneous and glossy composition, which we let cool. Don't worry if the sugar hasn't completely dissolved.
We mix the flour with cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Beat the eggs with a mixer or whisk.
We add the chocolate composition, made previously. homogenize with the mixer or whisk.
Add the vanilla extract.
We incorporate the flour mixture in 2 - 3 installments. The result is a homogeneous and glossy composition.
We pour the composition into the 20x30cm pan, lined with baking paper and greased with butter. Level with a spatula. We remove the air bubbles as in the video.
Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 175 degrees C for 30-35 minutes, then let it cool. Remove the cake from the pan.
The cake rose well, did not crack when baked, has a nice crust.
It can be served as is or with a glaze.
Glaze:
Chocolate and whipped cream are placed in a bowl. We put the bowl in the microwave for a minute, then we homogenize the composition with the whisk and let it cool for an hour.
If you are not using the microwave, heat the whipping cream until almost boiling, pour it over the chocolate and blend with a whisk. The result is the same.
The cake is completely cold and we glaze it with the chocolate cream made previously
Optionally, we can decorate the cake with a cream, a topping or we can sprinkle it with coconut flakes, nuts or crushed peanuts.
