Although not a fan of Brownings ( until now) I tried the 725 hunter premium version on the Browning stand at this month's Broadland's Country Show. I hit 9/10 clays on the demo shoot, missing one when distracted by the look and feel of the gun -great . I would buy one tomorrow if I could afford the £2k plus. Try it if you get a chance.

Double Trap! I have alot of Brownings from the early 60s- now! But I Shoot PSCA Sporting clays events in the summer for Ceasar Guerini Shotguns! The Invictus 32"! I have to say I love my shot guns! I also inherited 2 WW Greener 12 gauge she'll! Not paper from 1906, and 1909! And a LC Smith from the mid 20s! In 20 gauge! All of my Brownings that are from the 60s are 410-28 gauge! The hole collection! And I lucked up on a 30-06 Belgium made Browning Olmpinyin (Mint) from a Estate sale! I have been collecting for along time, and my Brother was 10 yrs older then me, and unfortunately he passed away 3 yrs ago from Cancer! He was a huge collector! I have a pair or 1965 6" Pythons, and many other Colts! And he , and I where both always high end 1911 collector's! So I am kinda old School! But I love your channel straight forward to the point of the gun, and it is what it is? That is why I love the channel, and you Love Cesar Guerini!! I have shoot Zoli, and perazzi and Kolar, but I want a blaser!! F3 engraved!! And I will get one!! Keep it up guys! Any shotgun you guy review is a great gun for different people! If we where not in different Countries I would let you do some reviews on my older guns!!

Nice review! Sometime, could you do a video of the different locking systems of the popular actions. I'm assuming that they all aren't solely dependent on the hinge pin for strength.

Hi, i have shouldered one of these and i feel it suits me....consistent mounts.......the mid bid makes almost an 8 mark.......do you think that it might shoot high or sounds more like flat ? I want it for sporting and wood pigeon hunting. Thank you.

I wish you have a nice day my friend and thank you for all your helpfull and enjoyable videos! I am from Greece and I love super pose guns so I want to make you a question: which is in your opinion the best choice for a 12 super pose with a budget no bigger than 2000-2500 euro, mainly for hunting use? Is Beretta or Browning 725 worth the money or is there any better choice to this budget? Thank you, keep up the great job. Greetings from Greece.

Is 686 silver pigeon a safe and complete choice?
@tgsoutdoors6 жыл бұрын
|It is the safe choice, with a variety of specifications
@uplandknight57826 жыл бұрын
A little biased perhaps??? lol Choice should be based on fit.....although mechanically I still say the Browning is a more durable and dependable gun, but it should come down to fit if the choice is but one of the 2 guns mentioned

You can just order it with a trap/beavertail foreend. I dont like the schnabel either. I needed quite a bit more cast on mine, and the stock still does not feel right. There is not enough drop at comb and it could do with slightly more at the heel as well. Also, as you mention the comb is to wide. Honestly I don´t think it fits many people very well. It´s never my first pick when i open the cabinet.

Its such an oppotunity for Browning to shine, but they just failed on the little things

For shooting Sporting Clay what in your opinion is the ideal choke set up?
@tgsoutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the ground. Most of the Pro boys will have the gun fitted with something above 5/8th

@thegunshop looking at the 725 pro sport...cant find anything on them or many reviews and im thinking of buying one...any thoughts on these? im divided on buying an f16 or the pro sport.....the f3 blaser is way out of my money range. not fond of the new beretta 690 etc so i dont know what to get!

I would lean towards the pro sport personally. I will see if i can get one for a review

The Broadlands Country Show was good but could have done with more shooting related stands. Only Browning and I think Rizini? Manufacturers there. Probably the conflicting timing with the Netley Marsh event? Huge falconry event, which was quite interesting and gun dogs entertaining as usual.

It was a good day out, we thought about having a stand to increase the guntrade presence, maybe next year! Great falconry event though, always good to see!

I’m thinking of a Browning 725 Sporting for with 32” barrels mostly for skeet and the occasional sporting clays. I haven’t been able to find many videos on that specific gun but i would like your opinion on the matter. I’ve also been toying around getting a 686 SP1 Sporting and would like to know what you recommend to me. I’d like an o/u that will last many years without breaking the bank and I’ve settled on these two. I shoot once a week maybe 100 targets. Any feedback would be great. Thanks in advance

Long Barrels as a dedicated skeet gun?
@76wmtitan6 жыл бұрын
The Gun Shop maybe even 30”. Quite a few guys at my club use both lengths to shoot. Right now I’m using a semi with a 28”. I like it and swings well for me. Now I’m looking into and o/u.

Anytime you Gentleman come to the State's please contact me, and I would be glad to have you come to my Shop, and do some reviews on my collection I have at your choice! The WW Greener shot guns are both 90% because they probably have been shot at best 250 rounds either gun! I keep them well stored!! I would love to see your shop! I love shotguns! They are a gentleman's gun! That is why I love shooting sporting clays! Always good people, and getting younger people in the sport! I guess that is why I love it so much? Because I have been shooting since I was 8 yrs old !! With my Father, and Grandfather, and his to brothers my Great uncle's! And my other family members! We always got together and shot! I started with a Browning 410, and went to the feather weight A5 Browning 20 gauge! Now a am 50 yrs old! Same age as my Dad was then! My Dr is a shooter, and he has seen my Greeners, and made a huge offer for either? Lol.. there is no money to buy those! Thank you for your time! AND Love the Reviews!!

I recently purchased a USA version Browning Citori 725 “Pro” Sporting and I feel ripped off, with major buyers remorse!!! The only difference between the “Pro” and the regular adjustable 725 sporting is the lockable case, stock ONLY balancing weights, supposedly high grade 3-4 wood, and the laser engraving on the receiver, ( which is no where near as defined as the representation on Browning’s website.) Which are not worth the extra $400+ over the regular adjustable 725 sporting. 1st the lockable case is okay, but really it’s a large generic fit ( $150 at most ). 2nd my gun weighs 8lbs 2.5oz ( nice ) But it back heavy and balanced about and 1” behind the hinge. Adding more weight to the stock and not having the barrel balancing weights to counter will throw the balance off even more. 3rd the wood isn’t better than the regular adjustable versions I have seen. Also the wood has lots of pits and need to be filled with oil or something. 4th Like most things, the pictures of receiver on Browning’s website shows clear a defined definition of textures where mine, ( and the other 2 at the store ) have an almost completely silver receiver with light grey Letters of Pro on the side. No definition!!! Also the gun comes wrapped in plastic, Not nice socks. The accessories, spare chokes, and parts only comes a cardboard box, not a descent plastic case!!! My package didn’t even have the stock counter balances. I would except more for a $3500 “Pro” series shotgun. These are definitely not worth the extra $750 over the regular adjustable stock version. Disappointed!!!

TGS Outdoors that’s true, just got mine, but it’s slightly different. It has a mid bead, has the rounded fore end you were on about, and has a slightly different line pattern on the action, still black edition.
