I just bought one of these and I noticed the pin that goes in the hammer. In the video yours is facing the opposite direction from the one I was sent. With the 2 prongs facing away from me my pin sticks out to the right. The tool doesn't want to slide into the coils because it is angled the opposite slope from the spring. Is that normal or did I get a defective tool?

How light can I go w/mainspring & still get it to fire? I will be buying one of these tools.

It depends on the ammo you’re using. If you’re reloading and use soft primers you can go 15-16 lb. The lowest I’ve tried is 12lb with Fiocchi primers. For general usage don’t go under 24lb

Thanks! I don't usually use any lighter bullet than 124 gr., & usually use Winchester, Remington , or Speer. I'm looking to lighten up the trigger pull in my brand new Girsan MC P35 P.I. Really like it, but worst trigger pull of any pistol I've ever owned, [including 3 other Hi-Powers].@@BarArms
