The comps where Ray is playing a game way back in the earlier days of his streaming career juxtaposed with him playing the game closer to today really highlight how far he's come as a streamer and a comedian. He was great in those early days, but I feel like he's really hit his stride over the past few years. We're in a Ray-naissance, if you will.

Checking out raw footage is typically the most brutal part, because a lot of the times, something that didn't seem relevant becomes a catalyst for a joke later, or trying to work around alerts going off can add time. Checking the timing of cuts and fine tuning them requires a few replays of certain segments too, so def more time added. I'd say a 5 hour playthrough can usually take 6 hours+ to watch, but it really does vary. Having 2 needy cats also doesn't help 😅 I hope this answers your questions!

So when I was a kid and played this game originally, I had a cheat active where the NPCs went nuts and shot each other. Then I decided to do all the missions, only to find out I had essentially soft locked the game because I couldn’t reach Maria before some random Colombian killed her. So I had to do the entire game over. Only to find out later that 22:11 happens. Worst part for me is my stepdad knew the whole time and didn’t tell me.

This glitch also happens in San Andreas! But for some reason, people always thought it was just a side-effect of overusing cheats instead and didn't get debunked until way later.

I will say, besides the graphics being so old in the original that I still think this is an upgrade, the older games run SO much smoother it isn't even a competition. I still want fog as weather too, but it seems like lag and stuttering the game could do is a thing of the past - they just should have put more effort into San Andreas's graphics, I think a lot of people consider this same style a downgrade for SA - whereas Liberty City is so old it barely had textures in the first place However I will say putting the mission title in the middle of the screen was a mistake, not only is it jarring to suddenly have text right in the middle of the screen but it ruins the cutscenes, even as barebones as they can be this early on, who the fuck thought *that* was necessary at all?
