I’m 59 and have been a long suffering Browns fan since I was a “yout” in Northern Ohio. Born in Parma, lived in North Olmsted, Euclid, Mentor, and Geneva (then moved to Southern Ohio). Moved to CA in 1980 but remained a die hard Browns fan. I’ve suffered the comments, ridicule, and regular seasons of “well, there’s next year”. As I age I keep commenting to my wife, “I’ll probably go my whole life without the Browns winning a Super Bowl”. Hell, I might go my whole life without the Browns winning the AFC and even appearing in a SB. Because of stupidity and incompetence in the front office, we are looking at - at least - 3 to 5 years of mediocrity due to cap constraints and “needing to rebuild”. I took my wife and 3 kids to Cleveland in 2018 and had such a wonderful time. People in the area are wonderful. All I can say is Cleveland deserves better. We Browns fans deserve better. This mess is just pathetic.

Take a QB round 3ish (Dart) or wait and Draft Gabriel in a later round if you need to draft a Rookie. Do not pick Cam Ward or Sanders with the 1st round pick. Avoid Milroe at all costs. Beck and Ewers are also on my do not touch list

We need a lot so trade down (Not too far down) to get extra picks. Try to get in the range where you can draft Ashton Jeanty and use the extra picks on Offensive Linemen, Defensive Lineman and a LB if JOK isn't able to play again. Or if Jacksonville is interested in unloading Trevor Lawrence then try to get him or Sam Darnold if possible. Just hit on the picks and get a QB (Not out of this draft).

This qb class is interesting to me and not bad like everyone says. Kinda reminds me of 2017 in a way. I remember nobody wanted DW, Mahomes was a 2nd round project that might sneak into round 1, and Trubisky was a 1 year starter that was deemed the best of the group. Fact is nobody here can flat out say a class is this or that. DW and Pat where drafted to playoff teams. Guess what, Browns were a playoff team just a year ago. They have pieces. Drafting a rookie qb is the only play for the FO now. They'll all be fired next year if they're mediocre.

Don't dismiss the coaching. Much of the failures of that O-line wasn't just them being physically beaten but also that many times they didn't seem to have a clue who was supposed to block who on any given play. Blocking schemes play design was terrible as well.

To know these are our options at QB. There is more downside with the two top QBs than upside. I hope the front office makes good on their decision at the pick because if they don't get it right we will be set back even more. At that point give Myles his walking papers. If they believe those QBs are not good enough build the Oline. Depending on if they keep Stefanski find a QB that fits his system. He is a great OC. But coach and coaching up QBs he is awful. He does not play to his QBs strengths.

However if they don't take ward or Sanders and they turn out to be good as long as who they did take us good it won't matter. As long as they evaluate the taken and get a good player. In 2017 the Browns drafted Myles Garrett instead of Patrick Mahomes and nobody talks about that. Why? Because they didn't blow that pick.

Kevin Stefanski and Andrew Berry do not have the luxury of time. Period. If the Browns don't look like a competent organization next year, then they WILL BE FIRED. With that said, I don't think that it would be smart to leave their jobs in the hands of washed up QBs like Kirk Cousins or Aaron Rodgers, QBs who are worse passers than Deshaun Watson like Justin Fields, or Deshaun Watson himself coming off of another season-ending injury. I also don't think that it would be smart to bank on a mid round QB magically becoming Dak Prescott either. If the Browns draft Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, then I believe that Andrew Berry and Kevin Stefanski have a better chance of surviving until 2026. But if their plan is to have Justin Fields, Dillion Gabriel, and Deshaun Watson have an asinine QB competition, then they are all going to get fired.

Travis Hunter is the player that I absolutely DO NOT WANT. He doesn't have a position. Kevin Stefanski has been horrendous at using guys who have defined positions. Y'all really think that he can use a guy who doesn't? Andy Reid or Sean Payton could use Travis Hunter's skill set. If the Browns draft him he'll just be a mediocre slot CB, who they can plug in to replace Greg Newsome. That is not worth a 1st round draft pick to me.
