I like Gygax's quote, "Nothing will absolutely spoil a campaign as quickly as some of the material offered in the various gaming magazines." I was always amazed at what the editors let through in terms of over powered classes, monsters and magic. The archer-ranger, ninja and the various non-LG paladins immediately spring to mind.

Wow that's terrible art. I could have done that. Now 3 pounds for Tegel Manor. Excellent. Not sure what we paid for our first copy. Looks like we got it for $4.50. Hill Giants Lair was a pound ninety-five. Mind web could have a Cthulu like application. Never seen these monsters before. Very similar to the Memory web. I agree. The bits of memories coming at the characters was great. Now you realize you are arguing with poor Don who wrote a letter in 1979? Not a bad Mag. Nice adventure bits and ideas. Not a fan of the monsters. Liked the traps.
