first time back at the gym! WAKING UP at 5AM (starting a morning routine)

WE'RE DOING ITT!! first time back at the gym in a long time and it feels amazing! (when I don't wanna throw up lol). Starting this new 5AM morning routine has got to be one of the best decisions i've made. I wish I would've started sooner but hey, we all get there one way or another! Had a yummy breakfast and chilled the rest of the day!

Look at u...Chef Jones!!! VERY proud of u, making different dishes...I seem to remember a KZbinr that said she would never b able to cook, never say never 😊 Making steak, baked potato, green beans will b the easiest meal u ever cooked!!! Basically u put steak on grill, just turn once when side looks good, viola. Wash a potato, put in aluminum foil, bake it at 350° 45mins-an hour!!! U don't need a husband to do that, instead, invite him over for a steak, baked potato dinner!!! Green beans simple. My GS's do same thing, tough on outside, a baby on the inside!!! Stay blessed 🙌🏻 and safe!!!

Hey Brooke, I usually try & eat something light pre workout, like a yogurt or some overnight oats, or chia pudding,then post workout, try to replenish with lots of alkaline water, or any type of water with electrolytes, some almonds or cashews, & a piece of fruit, usually a banana. Or you can have a good fruit smoothie. You got this!💪🏼💪🏼 We keep going! 🐶👩🏻‍🦳🙏🏼

@@brrookejoness girl, same! The lengths I used to go to avoid getting any slime or blood on me was comical😅. I don’t like the texture of fat so If I’m choosing a steak for me, I just look for something that isn’t too thin, and doesn’t have too many fat lines in it. If it’s for my hunny, he loves a ribeye. They call the fat lines marbling I think and it does add great flavor. You can also just ask staff in the deli/meat area what is a good “cut”. You can even tell them the price you’re willing to pay. They usually are really exited to help. It was really intimidating for me too. But trial and error are the best ways to learn. Plus, it’s just fuel for your body at the end of the day so just try to look at it that way:) You don’t need any fancy seasonings, salt pep and garlic powder are my go to. Just use a tad more salt than u might think. Or ask at the deli counter what seasoning they recommend 😉
