Not saying it’s worth it at all, because I don’t think all of those things are necessary. But all of those things do add to the hefty price tag. It’s just a trendy place to be seen, and I think the sticker shock is part of their brand appeal. As for the smoothie…I would say it’s blue spirulina and butterfly pea flower. All very fancy.

As someone who lives 10 minutes walking distance from the store near Abott Kinney take it from me. This store remains in business because their are certain people in LA who don’t want to shop in the same store as “regular” people. You could literally go in their and pay $6.99 for the exact same Driscoll strawberries you could get for $2.99 at any other grocery store. It’s literally just a status symbol. As someone who meal preps every week and can tell you every calorie I eat, I wouldn’t be caught dead in this place. This is a place for people who don’t actually cook, influencers, recent transplants and business write offs

That’s why when I see ppl say mean things about celebs and influencers living a certain lifestyle, it’s usually because they’re mad that they’re rich. I like to use it as motivation and inspiration.
