I live close to Calabasas and my friends from Michigan were oh look Erewhon! Never heard of it before until last month. $20 smoothies, $60 water. Smoothie was good though but no smoothie is worth $20. I’m not on social media so maybe that’s why I never heard of it.

The price of that store is disgusting 😵 imagine all the hungry families in America just one person shopping there could feed.

Interesting because it would have been better to get professionally made sushi at a restaurant for that price

I truly wonder how much profit this store makes per day. It looks like they insanely overcharge customers for everything.

$23/lb is ridiculous for a grocery store hot bar. The organic grocery store near me in Charlotte charges $8/lb. And $18 for ONE smoothie? That place should go out of business. The tuna was a decent price for the area it's in.

Got the worst case of FOOD POISONING from this ridiculous place. Sometimes it pays to follow your first instincts. Whole Foods is the best and one of the cleanest and safest!

I stopped by Whole Foods drunk yesterday and almost bought a salad at the cold bar but I heard some workers making fun of me and that snapped me back

Erewhon is an example of how prices would be like when corporations aren’t speedrunning meat production. If you can afford to have a conscience, then go for it. If not, that’s cool too. We live within our means.
