During covid, I slept on the couch so my ex could have the bed and feel safe from catching anything from me as I still worked outside of the house and he was working from home. I slept on that couch for over 2 years and let me tell you, I also wake up, feeling so very thankful to be sleeping in my own bed again.

Hi Brooke, I've been watching yours and Dace's story develope for a while now. I've always been impressed with your perseverance. Now, I'm recently without a home for my 6 year old granddaughter and myself. My bf of 15 years moved out to live closer to his family in Texas. I couldn't afford our apartment by myself on my disability and pet sitting income. We had to give our little dog, Shiloh, to my daughter until we have our own home again. In the interim, our belongings are in a storage unit, and we are staying at my niece's house. She graciously gave us a room in her 2 bedroom mobile home. We are very fortunate, but at the same time, I am beyond sad. I am 51 and have never been without my own home. I feel like I've failed my granddaughter, whom I've had guardianship of since she was 11 months old. Our little dog has to be on anxiety medicine during this separation. I'm trying to stay positive while I look for an affordable new home for the 3 of us. Anyway, I'm just letting you know that now, more than ever, I really am impressed with all you've accomplished in your journey while staying so positive and pleasant to watch. This is so difficult to adjust to.

People may hate this suggestion. But please apply for Section 8 Housing support. You don't have to live in a substandard area. Ask for your rental maximum. You can look at apartments with that amount of rent per month. You can get a two bedroom because you are your granddaughters guardian. Don't go into details with the rental person regarding your situation. Apply just as you would if you were working. WHEN APPROVED, take your approval letter and the letter for the rental agency on your search. You can look at the place and then apply online pay to hold the apartment through the online portal. Because you are disabled and "I'm assuming you have SSI or SSDI income. You are in a federally protected class. If you find a place and apply online, let your Case Manager know and ask for his/her assistance at that point. I've seen so many people struggling unnecessarily. Your rental payment is 30% of your income. I hope this information helps your situation for the better.

Not sure why I laughed so hard when you made your bed, but I did. Because you asked... to me, you have an ashy blonde going on with the bottom of your hair and a sandy/dirty blonde color on top. There was one part of the video where your hair looked really good with the lighting in your room and I could tell it was a little darker. I wish we lived closer so we could hang out! I love your attitude of gratitude, it's good to be thankful for all that God blesses us with. Food, clothes, comfy beds, family, the beauty of nature, our dogs!!! Beautiful Brooke, if you like Avocados you can add that to your toast. Look for the 🥚 🍳 egg central cooker at Target. It streams, boils and pouches your eggs. You can add spinach, mushrooms, onions, and meat to have an omelette. You can load it while you're getting ready. Cuisinart has an egg central as well. It's the one I've used forever, GAME CHANGER 🤯. I love to add a grocery store Salsa on top 🤤.

You make me feel not so bad about loving my bed. With a boyfriend who owns his own company and is always on the go I feel like I don’t do enough some of the days and I often feel like slug. But I also love my bed and then I’m like ummm do I have a problem? Am I depressed? lol Snack? In bed Dinner? In bed KZbin? In bed. So much more comfortable than a couch.

It really just depends whether or not we’re using it to enjoy our down time or using it to avoid the things we need to do. However, i have found i enjoy and appreciate my bed more when I’m away from it longer. So KZbin, editing, working, eating, strategizing. All in bed just like you!😆
