Judging Curry only by his performances inside the ring, I thought Bruce was a quality fighter who was somewhat mismatched early in his career. His 140-pound championship matches were intense and enjoyable to watch. Didn't hear much from Irish Leroy Haley after the rematch with Curry or his 1985 match with Billy Costello.
