Never truly acknowledged Bruce’s TRUE talent as he spent 20 years performing in the UK. Sad……. He only originally lived a 25 minute drive to his home town of Sydney Mines , and I from Sydney, NS. His voice can sing the “ Cape Breton lyrics as easy as the Scottish lyrics flow from his lips. Although I never had the privilege to see him perform in person, I have made up for it since his passing by watching every and ALL video and concerts 🎵 he has ever performed it. RUNRIG was created for HIM, and he was created for RUNRIG, only neither one knew it at the time. May you rest in peace, Bruce, and May God comfort and instill his presence of peace to your family, friends, and band mates. ❤❤❤❤🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I first heard this song the spring of 1959 at an upstairs jazz club! in downtown Montreal. The singers were a couple who performed accepalla with a slow ghostly quality. No names, but I’ve never forgotten.
