Bruce Kulick Celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the Asylum Tour

Actually got to meet him & take a photo during a "meet and greet" thing at a drum shop in Jersey on this tour! He was really cool, & I was impressed with his super firm handshake, cuz he was 5-6 inches shorter than me (I'm 6'1"). But, his hair was so teased up, he was almost my height! 🤣🤣🤣 What a great drummer he was...🔥🥁

Valentines Day in Seattle was my first KISS concert ever! I was near the front row at stage left and I held up a banner saying I wanted to jam with you. You gave me a thumbs up and then I threw the banner to you and you reached for it but I didn't throw it far enough. I had to ride a Greyhound bus back to the ski resort where I had an apartment, but the bus dropped me off 2 miles away from my apartment, and had recently injured my knee, and had a brace on, I didn't have a coat (too hot in the concert for a coat) and I had to walk in a foot of fresh fallen snow to get home(seriously). It was all worth it and I would do it again if I went back in time.

Bruce, this was my first Kiss Show at Kiel Auditorium in St. Louis! My dad worked downtown near the venue and got us floor seats, I have such memories of the Huge Kiss Sign and also of the opening act, which was W.A.S.P. on that date. I still have grey long sleeve "Slave Girl" shirt from that show, and my earplugs. I was 14.

I was in Philadelphia for the Asylum Tour !!!! Oh yeah, i was in the front row. (Genes side of the stage)The kiss sign was huge!!!👍👍👍😃 The Asylum tour was colorful for sure and the Eric Carr drum solo was amazing!!! Wow what an amazing video, love the version of Wont get fooled again by The Who. Ive seen Kiss so many times since 1977 and all the tours you did Bruce. They were all amazing, love all your cool Esp guitars you used. Its so cool you share so much great memories of Kiss, it deserves it. I grew up on Kiss it was my first concert ever, I think it made an impressive impression. You certainly did Kiss justice in your time with them. Your playing is awesome and tasteful. Ill always remember when I met you in Vancouver in 1997 it was so great. I think your an amazing talented down to earth person.

I never forget the great show you & KISS performed in Saginaw,MI on March 6th 1986. It was freezing outside but it was on fire inside Wendler Arena for that Asylum show. Thanks for sharing the spectacular footage, Bruce. Take care, brah !
