Legends of the Dragon is a cracking book ....... hardback and not too expensive . To me this will be an upgrade ...... but contents wise not so sure . Hector will purchase at least two and never open them ......... weird !

Thanks for the shout out Stripey. I was gutted when I saw the price of the book last night. Missed out on the first two in hardback so really wanted this one, but I simply can’t justify that kind of money on a book. I’m sure those who buy it will absolutely love it. I did treat myself to ‘The Kato Show’ book to soften the blow of missing out. I think the less we say on the England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 performance the better. We were woeful. Have a great week buddy

Steven Kerridge He did a great job with many magazines and many books years ago, photos and information that many of us did not know, he did a great job, but now he is no longer the SK From those publications now it is more of the same, the same photos and the same information, this new book already has different editions in which it is repeated one after another, and to top it off 400 eur

What tickles me is your ability to see into the future by saying this new book already has different editions (whatever that means) Any chance with your visions of seeing the future you can pass me the winning lottery number for this week? lol... Truth is, you are still agitated because I wouldn't send you photos, but just carry on scanning magazines, or alternatively get a new man to worship instead of Bruce, it will relieve that tension :)

And it's not another one, Legends of the Dragó (Japan) or BL Chronicles, it may have many decorations, many letters in gold, hardcover binding, but then you remove the wrapping from the candy and what's inside is the good thing. I scan books and magazines and photos of Bruce, of course I do, like everyone else who you think others do, I'm already looking forward to being sent this latest scanned book of yours.

Of course this could take a few years due to the legalities you have to overcome due to your copyright infringements. Nice post Stripey. In my experience, it's not worth buying something expensive thinking it's going to be an investment. If you sell it on eBay, you get simpletons asking what your lowest price is (and you pay eBay fees). If you sell privately to a dealer they offer half the market value to cover their margins. In reality, you have to be young enough to hold onto something collectable for decades (and keep it in pristine condition), or old enough to afford it but not live long enough for it to be worth decent money. The paperback is the way to go 👍🏼 otherwise, buy it rare and cheap, or buy it because it means something to you 👍🏼

It would be nice to have in the collection, but the compleatest in my would then want the previous two books, Madarin & Fist in hardback (that would work out very expensive) as is this book. I have no doubt, it'll be top quality & a fantastic read, but, Mrs Stripey wouldn't approve at all. I'll wait for the softback, mate. Cheers 👍

Hi Stripey. I love Steve Kerridge books but its kinda hard to justify the price of this one. Steve already covered everything about the making of ' Way' in his hardback ' Legends of the Dragon.' Which is an amazing account of how it was made in Italia and at Golden Harvest. So what is in the new book that that we haven't heard before? If it had been personally signed by Nora Miao that might have justified the price tag for me. I guess, like yourself, I will wait for the softback. I Like the ' Tang green cloth bound' you mention. That of course is the colour of Tang Lungs chinese suit. A very subtle green that is more prevalent in the arrow version of the film. It's a nice touch but that price tag...woah!

I'm really glad I already own the 3 volume set of Kerridge's Legends of the Dragon which is around 700 pages combined covering Way Of The Dragon. I'm with you, this one is way too expensive for a book...

300 GBP?I rather get another Arrow set and still have left some 100 GBP ....Love Kerridge's books ( got Vol. 1 & 2 hardbacks of "Legends", the 2013 edition of "Legends", the "Mandarin" and "Intercepting Fist", many of the "Scrapbook series), but this is just too much for me. Got to draw a line somewhere....

Steve had mentioned on a couple of podcasts he did with the JKD Dialogues that it will eventually get a softback release. I think Steve said that if he didn't make a softback version that the larger fanbase misses out and his work gets lost to time. So it will eventually make it's way to softback!

Great Video as always Stripey, Book looks lovely, and would look great on any shelf ..Fans and Collectors! Money dictated that I was a "Fan" even if I saw a lot of the books that were about in the 70's they were out of my reach, but as a fan I had the all the KFM's and most of the Dragon magazines with the odd book etc! I would have loved them all like www.youtube.com/@peterreynolds141 has in his collection ..as you know a fantastic site for old Bruce magazines and books etc. Now I'm in my 60s and I can safely say I never lost the "Magic" of Bruce, and as I said before I now have a place in the mancave with some of my KFM's on display ..Best regards ..Shane.
