@@Immigrantlovesamerica I don’t think that’s entirely true, he was a movie star first and foremost but I don’t think it takes an Ivy League professor to see he was an intelligent man with a lot of good advice and he had a really philosophical mind. He was also an incredible martial artist I’m sure many people that knew him could confirm that, he really was fast he really was strong, however that doesn’t mean he could whoop anyone on the planets ass like some people choose to believe. That being said I wouldn’t have wanted to test that out lol. He was an incredible guy and left a positive impression on the world in more ways than one and it’s kind of upsetting to see people make him out to be some shifty con man.

@@xTheNameisEthan Everyone says he was the greatest, yet there is not a single video of a real fight. The only thing that exists is an exhibition match against a beginner who cant even throw a kick, and he manages to get hit several times. Mohammed Ali was around at the time and there are gazillions of videos of his fights and training sessions. How come Brue Lee, being a rich movie star and all, has NOTHING available? Not a single fight. And his exhibitions were all party tricks. Was he fast? Could he kick and punhc? Sure. But that's what made him a movie star, not a fighter. He is completely overhyped.

It's a very common philosophy in Eastern Martial Arts, in Budo we call it Mushin (無心) or "No Mind" and sometimes Fudoushin(不動心) or the "immovable mind". It's a state where you're body just moves of it's own accord to react to a situation you've trained the neurons in your brain and muscles in your body hundreds upon hundreds continuously over YEARS and YEARS of repetition. It's very real, although I have only dipped my toe in the water of it. They say that you shouldn't fear the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks, you should fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. That's what many people who do not practice martial arts do not understand, some of them are ''what if experts''.... Yes there can be hundreds upon hundreds of counters for one particular kick but they do not necessarily matter if the one preforming the counter has not practiced the counter enough. Unless the technique in question is inherently flawed on a fundamental level, training a certain move hundreds if not thousands of times will give you a abnormal speed and reaction with it when used in the appropriate tempo, a speed that leaves such a very VERY small window for any counter whatsoever. Ultra Instinct in Dragon Ball is an exaggeration of this concept but also illustrative of it especially for the layman. The only way Goku could even compete with Jiren at all, someone who was said to have reflexes and speed above the Gods of Destruction themselves and probably is using a form of Ultra Instinct himself, is to be in a state where his body just moves on it's own. Not weighed down by thoughts, not weighed down by planning out moves, not weighed down by confusion or doubt. All of those things take time, some a lot more than others, and when you're fighting someone unbelievably skilled such as Goku did, he didn't have that time. It's not "I'm going to throw a right hook at his head"...The right hook is already there because you've trained giving that punch so many times your brain doesn't need to give your body complex instructions.

Yeah it is funny, with that word, Spiritual. What does it mean? -Easely mislead to angels and gods. But in ancient times it was different. "In the spirit of" "Son of " "Image and likeness" It is all the same thing, referring towards an archetype. It is written in the old script. You put a seed in the ground and see what it grows into. A dog, a Lion, a Scorpion, a vesel, a coyota, a rat. Etc. It also says in the ancient script" Let US make mankind into OUR image, after OUR likeness." So they did........Rome was founded by twins raised by a wolf. Totally different meaning than most believe it to be. So to be spiritual is mastering the meaning of it. To know what it means. Not to be delusional about, then you are not mastering it.

His Charisma is spiritual. He strived to become Aetheric. He was not a physical being fighting and maintaining territory. He was Spirit, using his essence to convey his Body and Mind to the Three Dimensional Plane of Existence. Perhaps this was why he chose instead to display his wisdom versus his fighting prowess. He knew in the long run, he'll be remembered for giving wisdom to people instead of egoic achievement and striving to be Undefeated. He knew that Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Aether when in Union with Instinct or Physical along with Control or Mind, He could Become a Spirit Expressing himself as a mere Man. Akin to a Dragon that is Mythological and considered a Magickal Being. To be That is to Die and Transcend what you are and Become One with the Immortal and Infinite. This is Embodiment of The Center where the Yin and Yang meet. Most focus on Yin or Yang or Bounce between the Two. Yet to Sit Inside of them at Once with half of your body in Yin and Half in Yang is to Be That which is Not Yin or Yang yet something called The Void. This is Nirvana, this is Void, this is Aetheric. This is Spirit. This is Soul. This is the Ultimate and the Original Form of Life. It is Primordial Oneness. It is True Power.

@gagetaylor1923 жыл бұрын
@@deavyhick6803 He didn't steal the quote. To have stolen the quote meant he would have said exactly what Brooks said and claimed it as his own. He more adapted the quote to be understood in a different way. Modernized it if you will. To pray to be a stronger man sounds like trying to be a tough guy. But to pray to have strength to endure a difficult life is having inner strength. Difference between trying to brute force problems and being able to take a difficult life in stride. This is saying he even stole anything and he knew who Philips Brookes was. Otherwise it could be a case of 2 great minds thinking alike. It happens all the time. Besides how did that quote even apply to Brooks? He was a white American man who probably didn't have to face half the problems a man like Bruce did being a popular Chinese American IN America. But considering you called him a coke head for whatever reason I don't think you want an intellectual conversation.

While watching this I can't stop admiring him. Don't know exactly for what, for his obvious mastery over his domain, or for his clarity of thoughts, for way he expressed his thoughts. Surely a man ahead of his time.. and that too in his twenties.. Man he was a genius, scholar, legend.

Bruce studied Philosophy in Seattle, and combined many concepts that he discussed with his professor about yin and yang, and simplified and divided everything in just 2 words: Attack and Defend. He wrote a book that was circulating between the concepts of Offense and defense and how we can incorporate yin and yang into chinese kung fu and the spirit of kung that it represents.

Bruce Lee was a genius that made a huge impact on cinema and even societies culture at many levels in many countries! Where he said "expressing oneself honestly" I believe that is the secret to his image standing through times. R.I.P & respect.
