I knew a soldier many years ago, who was arguably the toughest man I've ever known. Elite special forces. He often spoke of his former colleagues and the battles or actions they fought in. What surprised me at a point was that he told me that none of the other men were left alive because they had ALL committed suicide. All of them. They couldn't accept or handle the memory of the actions they had been involved with, and being genuine, tough, masculine individuals they often went to the grave without telling anyone what their problem was. One of these men had his wife pass him he's newborn son and he cried hysterically but never told his wife or anybody what memory the child had triggered. He then deliberately went and got himself killed. What I learned from this man, the softness of his eyes contrasted with the hands in front of him, -the very bare hands that he'd used to kill people, sort of confirms what I've known for some time, and what this video points out. The other men wouldn't yield, or confess, or disclose or seek counseling for their problems. They had it would seem an unyielding view of what a man should be. I think a lot of us do. They seemed to have an inflexible view or handling of their problems. They favored things like self-medicating with alcohol instead of getting genuine help. The only reason I ever heard the stories of these people was because out of a community of incredibly tough people who died by their own hands, there was one man among them who sought help at every turn and that's what saved him. Even in the time I knew him he checked into a psychiatric hospital several times. He let other people help him, and he didn't see obtaining help or even sharing his pain with people like myself as a weakness. We tend to cringe at the idea of man 'complaining' about their problems as somehow unmasculine as 'weakness.' This idea, will get and continue to get people killed. It's not complaining, it's learning how to survive, and that's the proof I've seen with my own eyes.

The grass replied, it's simple, I just bend down for the wind. You don't need to be powerful. You can't win over some things. So you let fly over your head. "Be strong enough to be gentle!" :)

An unnecessary weight was removed from my shoulders, as well as my heart. now I can breathe again. after watching several of these in a row, I suddenly feel a stillness within myself; I am serene, at peace. I have realized that I am ultimately the only person who can hurt myself, and that I have been hurting myself this entire time. I am glad I am still alive, still trying. They view him as this rigid being who doesn't understand the complexity of life and sees everything as black and white, when in fact life is complex and God is probably even more complex. We should (in my opinion) chill and enjoy this ride of life and learn to appreciate others and empathize with them instead of being so judgemental all the time. It sounds cheesy as hell I know, but I seriously think this was the mission of Christ on the earth. Not establishing a rigid religion that determines whether you go to heaven or hell, I think.

This reminds me of a 40 year old man named Akiva, a shepherd & laborer, who couldn't read. He saw water softly, slowly trickling down a brook, hitting a rock, little drip by drip. While it was gentle, it was constant & Akiva realized something: there was a hole in that rock exactly where the water touched it. He pondered what he saw & concluded that if gentle water could make a hole in a hard, solid rock, then words of Truth - like iron - could make a real impression on his heart. He changed his life, began to study - for 24 years straight, beginning with sitting in a classroom with the young children learning letters - & he became the greatest leader of his time, directly teaching thousands of people. Like gentle drops of water, little changes, small experiences, barely perceptible learning can all add up - even more than those huge moments of enlightenment - & make a lasting impression on us & how we live our lives.

Beautiful and accurate video as to how one should conduct one's life, regardless of opposition or circumstances. Life is much wealthier and more complex paradoxically by taking a simple and humble approach. Connecting with and unifying with nature is the humble approach that will lead to true long lasting happiness, peace, and lucidity.

There's one more substantive meaning of flow. In tai chi, originally a Taoist art, flow is the ability to link one movement to the next. When one goes without stopping/starting, not speeding up or slowing down there is a palpable energy that emerges, and the mind becomes more calm. After practicing this way there is the sensation of being elated and invigorated.

Thinking definitely has its merits. But as with everything, there is a beneficial interval in the middle. If you are unable to interrupt your thinking, you have the opposite qualities of water!

I would say this applies more to stoicism and the concept of temperance. Contemplate pain but don't dwell on it too much. And then in this process you become like water.

I just wrote a poem like this.. 'be liquid'. A caterpillar becomes liquid when in the cocoon before becoming a butterfly or what have you. We do this over and over when we are tragically blessed enough to be so fortunate.

I had a hypnosis session this summer where I saw a “past, present or future” version of myself as water. I adapted and floated around my surroundings. I was connected to everything and my emotions changed according to every being I encountered which wasn’t a lot as I was somewhere in the galaxy. The interesting part however was when I was left suspended, alone and without living beings around me, I could no longer survive and I passed on to the afterlife. It was a profound experience.

What’s a hypnosis session entail? Beautiful summary. Thank you for sharing 💙🐠
@SunnyIcedQueen4 жыл бұрын
@@taliaaalia5175 I had what is known as a qhht session. One is guided to a deep hypnosis and you are able to connect with past lives, usually a maximum of three. The water was the third one. The first two lives were also very detailed and as I was very aware of what I was doing, just suspended within my subconscious. You can Google or KZbin about qhht. There is alot of information out there. I would like to think I imagined it all.....but I always wonder, if I indeed imagined it, why did I decided to become water and experience what I did?!

NDEs and OBEs teach us that there are unlimited dimensions, each one spinning and vibrating with the energy of mind. We are an afterlife now, IF there was such a thing as time. Which there is not. Stop the earth from spinning and you will see we are always in the NOW no matter where we are.

The phrase "Everything is as it should be" really suberizes the current situation in our world (the Western world in particular). For all our progress through the centuries we never actually practiced what we claim to believe. The sick society we have is only the result of our own lies and hypocrisy. So the result is as it should be. And instead of reconsidering what we think we go on lying to ourselves and others all the while ignoring the facts. Why ?! Because it's easier to be keep the rigid mindset and blame others because changing is scary.

I like this, the only part is the useless part I don’t think anyone aims to be useless. The way this was worded it made it seem like you can choose to be useless and if you choose to be useless than it’s ok. Everyone has a way of thinking and being useless just sounds so harsh.
@pureenergy45782 жыл бұрын
Being useless is not true. The souls creating us have a mission here. These missions are not useless.
@kidharb2 жыл бұрын
We can also look at useless in a different way. In the example with the bent tree "useless" can be taken as being non conformist. This uselessness of the tree saved it from being chopped down, like that being different in the way you live your life can save you from life's pressures
@brushfuller3302 жыл бұрын

@loremipsum980 Жыл бұрын
Being "useless" could be interpreted as being generally uninterested in work, success, achievement, competition, and accumulating power and wealth in our society. Lots of artists, musicians, and people who are inclined towards creativity and self-expression would fit into this category since they value being authentic and true to who they really are, as opposed to being just "another mindless slave" to this greedy, materialistic society.
