Many dads and moms abuse their sons and don't have a bond with them, and reject them,and cause them immense pain in life. Many just view them as extensions of themselves and not their own individual person with rights and their autonomy. A parents job is to provide a better life for their kidsand bring them up to be healthily and well balanced and raise them in stable safe household or keep them together as a family if they move around a lot. Many sons and daughters are simply not wanted by their parents because their parents can't change or had toxic parents themselves. Generational problems and systemic dysfunction is rooted deep problems of that family, parents end up making the same mistakes as their parents, unless they do the hard painful work of getting better and acknowledging the harm they suffered and then inflicted on their offspring.

Gotta say I found this pretty interesting. I definitely enjoy hearing from a woman's perspective on scenes like this. However, I have to disagree with the moral or wording of the moral at the end. Specifically the part about never chasing women. There are times and places where if a guy doesn't pursue then nothing happens. Interest breeds interest. If a guy shows interest in a girl then she may in turn show interest in the guy. That's what is called leading in a relationship. Of course what I believe you are talking about is the extremes like when a guy desperately or forcefully pursues a woman not taking no for an answer. Yes, I agree that a guy shouldn't do that. Bruce Lee movies are designed so that we can see Bruce Lee fight and fight well. Real life doesn't work quite like that. There are times when it is hard to display ones strengths as a man due to the many variables at work. I do agree that guys should be humble and cool to a certain extent but sometimes the best way to lead is to shoot first (obviously not talking about guns or fighting here). Too many of peoples dating advice goes towards one extreme or the other (or at least sounds like it does). No wonder there are a lot of confused guys out there. There is nothing unnatural about a guy chasing a girl (as long as it doesn't go to certain extremes). I'd even say that many girls if not most want to be noticed, chased, and won. Other than that I agree with your advice/moral.

But all women prefer a dominant man that can go after what they want with confidence. It ain't all about type. Type might win you the date but character will win you the hand in marriage.

@Some Guy There are a number of things that never change. Doesn't matter what period we are in or the culture. Men's and women's basic nature never changes. If women were to truly dominate then relationships would be a mess perhaps like we are seeing right now. Women who are with men who let them run the show either despise their partners or they are basically a masculine woman who likes to micromanage people. Like Hilary Clinton for instance. The worst perhaps possible president choice in US history. Men are the ones who have the more natural leadership qualities and tend to be more logical in comparison to women. Women on the other hand have a hard time saying no to people on average and are much more compassionate and caring because they have to be in order to take care of infants. This is based on psychological data in multiple countries. The very reason why women prefer bad boys is due to the fact that they typically prefer a more dominant man. The reason why divorce happens so much is partially due to men not being dominant enough or perhaps being dominant in a forceful not loving way. Either extreme is bad. The best man for most women is one that can be dominant and loving at the same time. It has much more to do with character than it does type and we have been seeing a huge increase in the lack of morals and character in North America. I recommend you check out the book The Alabaster Girl by Zan Perrion because you just have it all wrong. Good luck in your relationships. You are gonna need it.
