If Bruce Prichard had a Time Machine, he'd change one iconic finish that will have you scratching your head. #bruceprichard #brethart #wwe

The way Hogan looks at the crowd after throwing rock down and hulking up stands out for me, cos you see in his face he knows he's got them again. He went back to the red and yellow after the nwo in wcw, and it didn't really work.

That Pritchard thinks it is two different audiences is hilarious. At that point people watched both. It was all wrestling not archaic territories. Cable was invented

Prichard. His name is in the title and you still got it wrong even after editing this. Doesn’t get any dumber than you

Thanks for taking my question! I too would have changed the WMIX finish. Having Yoko champ for a whole extra year without losing going into WMX would have built his lore even further than it already had. I’ve always been a huge Yoko fan.

Bret Hart thought he was more deserving.....He was wrong.

2:59 This makes sense on the surface, but since you immediately have Yoko lose in 30 seconds to Hulk Hogan afterward, it would be a great way to not only ruin Yoko, but Bret as well (not that they weren't already ruined). FWIW Bruce also said that he would've put Doink over for the World Title at Wrestlemania too, so that's his booking.

The ads are in horrible spots. I mean, they cut you off mid-sentence. Because of that, when they are over I have no clue where you were at point-wise.

Yokozuna shouldn't have even been the champion. He just came on the scene and wasn't supposed to speak English. Then have him hold the title for a whole year. Ridiculous! He didn't draw anything but they just wanted to push him. Which shows it's all politics. Has nothing to do with talent not getting over when they bury them or release them. If WWE wants someone to go over their going to keep pushing them. Look at Roman Reigns.

Vince was still stuck in that 1980's big guy mindset back then. Where the big guys always got over in the end and were the main eventers and that mindset lasted until the attitude era.

It's never had anything to do with talent.

The WWF Fans wanted Hulkamania, Razor & Diesel. Not Hollywood and The Outsiders. Because the latter were WCW, and at that point they'd been played out. But make no mistake, had Rock-Hogan happened in, say, 1995ish, Hogan would've been booed out of the Skydome. The Red & Yellow revival happened because the WWF fans hadn't seen it in forever. It was fresh again. But Bruce trying to downplay the nWo is silly. They kicked your ass, man. You came back and put 'em out of business. Get over it.

You couldn't be more wrong... nobody wanted Razor and Diesel back...

The fans wanted to cheer for the NWO. Which is why they didn't get booed even when they attempted to murder Rock. Bringing them in at No Way Out saying that they loved the fans (Though sarcastically) really didn't help in drawing them heat.

squash the no charisma jericurl, the man who almost led WWF into bankruptcy. 'business is down' yah, because Bret and Diesel were on top. Bob Backlund was more of an interesting champ than either one of them.

Dude, the business was down. Nobody was drawing $$$… you have no idea wtf you’re talking about
@nickr48374 күн бұрын
yah, that happens when you have champs with zero charisma who can't cut a promo. business suddenly is "up again" once real superstars are put into the top spots. wwf had their best years once they kicked Bret out, amazing isnt it? 😂

@@nickr4837What were their best years without Bret? After Vince forced him to wcw? Your clearly a mark with a hard on for Bret for some reason but Jim cornette who has all the numbers says no one drew then but the worst were Nash and Shawn. Numbers went back up with Bret as champion. So do we listen to the Internet mark or the guy who was actually there. Hard choice lol

Bret is a bitter old crybaby who can't stomach the fact that in-ring work isn't the end all be all... great example, Dynamite kid is a better on ring worker than Bret, but would you consider him a bigger superstar than Steve Austin???
