What I don't get is Bret cried forever about...Hogan should of dropped the belt to him. Bret wanted to be hailed as the best ever . But in this moment his boss asked him to do something and he refused..." That doesn't work for me brother" so Vince did what he had to do because Bret's ego cannot be touched. He got what he deserved in my opinion.

It's professional wrestling i.e. not a real sporting event, how can there be a screwjob? Looks to me like talent marking out for themselves.
@kennethmalone46892 жыл бұрын
Seriously? Professional wrestling is a mock combat story telling narrative. Each match & program has a specific direction. As everyone knows things are predetermined. If the ending of the match is changed (due to a reason other other than say, an accident/ injury in the ring,) and the participants are unaware of the cause of the ending then it's a screw job.

@paulpanepinto96442 жыл бұрын
Thats all BS about Shawn being the only 1 having the balls to do the job he did, and the way they prop up Michaels like they do. Of course he had the guts to do it !! Him and Bret had real life heat!! He hated Bret. And if anybody has ever noticed-go watch the rivals dvd w Bret and Shawn where they go in depth about their fued. Michaels says point blank that he despised Bret and deep down he just wanted Bret to tell him he was good. For all the talk about Shawn being the best ever esp of the 90’s, who was the one person he wanted the validation from to say that he could work and was good? The Hitman. Everyone else had their noses up his backside but he wanted that pat on the back from bret. So who really was the best? I say the Best there is best there was, and the best there ever will be. Hands down. And if Shawn hadn’t refused losing at WM 13 to Bret, who knows how history would have been written. Just my opinion tho.

“He deserves one [punch] shot,” said the man who thought the public would see him as the babyface in the matter. That’s how out of touch Vince was (even back then). Meanwhile, “The documentary was one-sided.” Derp. Of course it was, ...just like every single piece of WWE produced media on this (and any other subject)! Bruce is just salty that Bret got to tell his “one side” of this story, with the film (and audio) to back it up, so WWE couldn’t be the only “one side” that got to tell the story.
