Apostle Bruce R. McConkie's last address in a General Conference, 4/1985. The emotion he shows was unique for him, which became understandable when his body lay in its casket before the same podium for his funeral two weeks later.
- - - - - -
"I am one of his witnesses, and in a coming day I shall feel the nail marks in his hands and in his feet and shall wet his feet with my tears.
"But I shall not know any better then than I know now that he is God's Almighty Son, that he is our Savior and Redeemer, and that salvation comes in and through his atoning blood and in no other way."

This is one of my all time favorite conference testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ! Anyone familiar with Elder McConkie's public addresses knows he isn't one to become teary-eyed at all. He was at the end of his battle with cancer having defied the odds several times to this point, but now he knew it was the end. He was told by many it was time to let go and rest. However, he knew he had to share this final testimony before he could do that. As he practiced the talk over and over at home, he could not do it without becoming overcome with emotion and collapsing. Although most everyone felt he had done enough and should not even attend conference, much less try to stand and give such an emotional address, his wife could see this was something he had to do so she called all the family and asked them to fast and pray that he could give his final testimony without becoming so emotional so as not to be able to finish. So with the faith, prayers and fasting of his family to buoy him up, he was able to share his final testimony with the world! Then he finally felt he had done all he came here to do and he went to bed to rest. There he stayed until 13 days later he was at the feet of His Savior, just as he testified of in his final testimony! So beautiful and unforgettable!

+Kate Dahlke McConkie will forever be remembered for his strength and his final words, not unlike some of the great prophets of the OT, NT, and BOM. This last testimony is simple, yet powerful. Anyone who wishes to see anything but that, is looking for something that isn't there, yet everyone has the free agency to judge for themselves.

Kate Dahlke awesome My mother always told me as a little boy about Apostle McConkie . She said he was an amazing man that loved God. She was right. It’s been nearly 40 years since my mom told me about him. I now get to learn and grow as a man and Christian by listening to his testimony ! Thank you mom and thank you Apostle McConkie for showing me what a true disciple of Christ must do to help other people. We must endure to the end and love God and our neighbors and bear our testimonies !!!!!!! We must become like all the saints that came before us who gave their lives and never gave up and finished the race of life !!!!!!

Testify of the Lord! Bruce Redd McConkie (1915 - 1985), an apostle of the Lord. The Purifying Power of Gethsemane Bruce Redd McConkie I feel, and the Spirit seems to accord, that the most important doctrine I can declare, and the most powerful testimony I can bear, is of the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ. His atonement is the most transcendent event that ever has or ever will occur from Creation’s dawn through all the ages of a never-ending eternity. It is the supreme act of goodness and grace that only a god could perform. Through it, all of the terms and conditions of the Father’s eternal plan of salvation became operative. Through it are brought to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. Through it, all men are saved from death, hell, the devil, and endless torment. And through it, all who believe and obey the glorious gospel of God, all who are true and faithful and overcome the world, all who suffer for Christ and his word, all who are chastened and scourged in the Cause of him whose we are-all shall become as their Maker and sit with him on his throne and reign with him forever in everlasting glory. In speaking of these wondrous things I shall use my own words, though you may think they are the words of scripture, words spoken by other Apostles and prophets. True it is they were first proclaimed by others, but they are now mine, for the Holy Spirit of God has borne witness to me that they are true, and it is now as though the Lord had revealed them to me in the first instance. I have thereby heard his voice and know his word. Two thousand years ago, outside Jerusalem’s walls, there was a pleasant garden spot, Gethsemane by name, where Jesus and his intimate friends were wont to retire for pondering and prayer. There Jesus taught his disciples the doctrines of the kingdom, and all of them communed with Him who is the Father of us all, in whose ministry they were engaged, and on whose errand they served. This sacred spot, like Eden where Adam dwelt, like Sinai from whence Jehovah gave his laws, like Calvary where the Son of God gave his life a ransom for many, this holy ground is where the Sinless Son of the Everlasting Father took upon himself the sins of all men on condition of repentance. We do not know, we cannot tell, no mortal mind can conceive the full import of what Christ did in Gethsemane. We know he sweat great gouts of blood from every pore as he drained the dregs of that bitter cup his Father had given him. We know he suffered, both body and spirit, more than it is possible for man to suffer, except it be unto death. We know that in some way, incomprehensible to us, his suffering satisfied the demands of justice, ransomed penitent souls from the pains and penalties of sin, and made mercy available to those who believe in his holy name. We know that he lay prostrate upon the ground as the pains and agonies of an infinite burden caused him to tremble and would that he might not drink the bitter cup. We know that an angel came from the courts of glory to strengthen him in his ordeal, and we suppose it was mighty Michael, who foremost fell that mortal man might be. As near as we can judge, these infinite agonies-this suffering beyond compare-continued for some three or four hours. After this-his body then wrenched and drained of strength-he confronted Judas and the other incarnate devils, some from the very Sanhedrin itself; and he was led away with a rope around his neck, as a common criminal, to be judged by the arch-criminals who as Jews sat in Aaron’s seat and who as Romans wielded Caesar’s power. They took him to Annas, to Caiaphas, to Pilate, to Herod, and back to Pilate. He was accused, cursed, and smitten. Their foul saliva ran down his face as vicious blows further weakened his pain-engulfed body. With reeds of wrath they rained blows upon his back. Blood ran down his face as a crown of thorns pierced his trembling brow. But above it all he was scourged, scourged with forty stripes save one, scourged with a multithonged whip into whose leather strands sharp bones and cutting metals were woven. Many died from scourging alone, but he rose from the sufferings of the scourge that he might die an ignominious death upon the cruel cross of Calvary. Then he carried his own cross until he collapsed from the weight and pain and mounting agony of it all. Finally, on a hill called Calvary-again, it was outside Jerusalem’s walls-while helpless disciples looked on and felt the agonies of near death in their own bodies, the Roman soldiers laid him upon the cross. With great mallets they drove spikes of iron through his feet and hands and wrists. Truly he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Then the cross was raised that all might see and gape and curse and deride. This they did, with evil venom, for three hours from 9:00 A.M. to noon. Then the heavens grew black. Darkness covered the land for the space of three hours, as it did among the Nephites. There was a mighty storm, as though the very God of Nature was in agony. And truly he was, for while he was hanging on the cross for another three hours, from noon to 3:00 P.M., all the infinite agonies and merciless pains of Gethsemane recurred. And, finally, when the atoning agonies had taken their toll-when the victory had been won, when the Son of God had fulfilled the will of his Father in all things-then he said, “It is finished” (John 19:30), and he voluntarily gave up the ghost. As the peace and comfort of a merciful death freed him from the pains and sorrows of mortality, he entered the paradise of God. When he had made his soul an offering for sin, he was prepared to see his seed, according to the messianic word. These, consisting of all the holy prophets and faithful Saints from ages past; these, comprising all who had taken upon them his name, and who, being spiritually begotten by him, had become his sons and his daughters, even as it is with us; all these were assembled in the spirit world, there to see his face and hear his voice. After some thirty-eight or forty hours-three days as the Jews measured time-our Blessed Lord came to the Arimathaean’s tomb, where his partially embalmed body had been placed by Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathaea. Then, in a way incomprehensible to us, he took up that body which had not yet seen corruption and arose in that glorious immortality which made him like his resurrected Father. He then received all power in heaven and on earth, obtained eternal exaltation, appeared unto Mary Magdalene and many others, and ascended into heaven, there to sit down on the right hand of God the Father Almighty and to reign forever in eternal glory. His rising from death on the third day crowned the Atonement. Again, in some way incomprehensible to us, the effects of his resurrection pass upon all men so that all shall rise from the grave. As Adam brought death, so Christ brought life; as Adam is the father of mortality, so Christ is the father of immortality. And without both, mortality and immortality, man cannot work out his salvation and ascend to those heights beyond the skies where gods and angels dwell forever in eternal glory.

Now, the atonement of Christ is the most basic and fundamental doctrine of the gospel, and it is the least understood of all our revealed truths. Many of us have a superficial knowledge and rely upon the Lord and his goodness to see us through the trials and perils of life. But if we are to have faith like Enoch and Elijah we must believe what they believed, know what they knew, and live as they lived. May I invite you to join with me in gaining a sound and sure knowledge of the Atonement. We must cast aside the philosophies of men and the wisdom of the wise and hearken to that Spirit which is given to us to guide us into all truth. We must search the scriptures, accepting them as the mind and will and voice of the Lord and the very power of God unto salvation. As we read, ponder, and pray, there will come into our minds a view of the three gardens of God-the Garden of Eden, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Garden of the Empty Tomb where Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene. In Eden we will see all things created in a paradisiacal state-without death, without procreation, without probationary experiences. We will come to know that such a creation, now unknown to man, was the only way to provide for the Fall. We will then see Adam and Eve, the first man and the first woman, step down from their state of immortal and paradisiacal glory to become the first mortal flesh on earth. Mortality, including as it does procreation and death, will enter the world. And because of transgression a probationary estate of trial and testing will begin. Then in Gethsemane we will see the Son of God ransom man from the temporal and spiritual death that came to us because of the Fall. And finally, before an empty tomb, we will come to know that Christ our Lord has burst the bands of death and stands forever triumphant over the grave. Thus, Creation is father to the Fall; and by the Fall came mortality and death; and by Christ came immortality and eternal life. If there had been no fall of Adam, by which cometh death, there could have been no atonement of Christ, by which cometh life. And now, as pertaining to this perfect atonement, wrought by the shedding of the blood of God-I testify that it took place in Gethsemane and at Golgotha, and as pertaining to Jesus Christ, I testify that he is the Son of the Living God and was crucified for the sins of the world. He is our Lord, our God, and our King. This I know of myself independent of any other person. I am one of his witnesses, and in a coming day I shall feel the nail marks in his hands and in his feet and shall wet his feet with my tears. But I shall not know any better then than I know now that he is God’s Almighty Son, that he is our Savior and Redeemer, and that salvation comes in and through his atoning blood and in no other way. God grant that all of us may walk in the light as God our Father is in the light so that, according to the promises, the blood of Jesus Christ his Son will cleanse us from all sin. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen. Bruce Redd McConkie (1915 - 1985), an apostle of the Lord Saturday, April 6, 1985 (Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah)

Jesus was both God and man. Jesus is 100% God and 100% man. As a man, Jesus ate, thirsted, slept, wept, prayed to God and died. As God, Jesus rebuked Satan, forgave sin, performed miracles, accepted worship from the people, raised the dead and even raised himself from the dead. John 2:19 The Bible says that Jesus is eternal. John 17:5 Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. Micah 5:2 “But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.” John the Baptist, who was six months older than Jesus, said Jesus existed before he did. John 1 John testified about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’” **** John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 Jesus was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Jesus, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. Jesus took on human flesh. 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. *** Jesus didn't preach everything in one sermon. That is why we have a New Testament.

@@fayelewis5476 Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) simply states that he existed before the patriarch Abraham (Abram) (Proverbs 8: 1 - 36 (22 - 31)). John 8: 12 - 59 (31 - 59) JST John 8: 1 - 59 (12 - 59, 31 - 59) I do not believe that Jesus is God, nor has Jesus ever stated that those who reject the Deity of Christ are there for not Christians! A Christian is simply someone who worships God through the son of God! A Protestant Christian apologist named Frank Turek stated once: "I'm a non-denominational Christian. I believe that anyone who believes that Jesus died and rose again for their sins is a Christian." I think he said it best! Jesus Christ and Jehovah God are one in purpose and one in unity, BUT they are two different entities. Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) and our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah) are both one in purpose, but they are both not one in entity! Jehovah God is one God (Deuteronomy 6: 1 - 25 (1 - 9, 4)). Could you please show me the scripture that says Yahweh is three persons? Jehovah God stated directly: Deuteronomy 6: 4 - “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength." Even His only begotten son agrees with him: Matthew 22: 1 - 46 (34 - 40, 37), Mark 12: 1 - 44 (28 - 34, 29 - 30), Luke 10: 1 - 42 (25 - 37, 27). Where does Jesus call himself Yahweh or Jehovah? You will note that our Heavenly Father Jehovah God's name of "Yahweh" can mean "I AM" ("He Is"), "I shall prove to be" ("He shall prove to be"), "I who cause to become" ("He who causes to become"), "I exist" ("He exists"), etcetera. It is a name to can denote "beingness" or "existence" according to Doctor Dale Basil Martin (1954 - ). If His (Jehovah God's) only begotten son Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) uses the name "Yahweh" ("I exist") (John 8: 1 - 59 (12 - 59)), then our Lord and Savior is merely saying that he existed before the patriarch Abraham (Abram) (1872 B.C. - 1697 B.C.) (Proverbs 8: 1 - 36 (22 - 31)). John 8: 58. Where does Jehovah God call His son God? - 1637 B.C.) (Proverbs 8: 1 - 36 (22 - 31)). If Jesus wanted to say that he was God then the Lord would have said "Before Abraham was, I was the I AM! I was the great Yahweh! I was the great Jehovah! I was God!" BUT NO instead Jesus replied "Before Abraham was, I AM!" or "Before Abraham was, Yahweh (Jehovah)!" (John 8: 1 - 59 (58)) in John 8: 58 - Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” In fact, Jesus separated himself from the God of Israel in John 8: 42 - Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. (and Jesus once again separates himself from the God of the Jews in John 8: 54 - Jesus answered, “If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your and our God.) So, are not both the apostle Paul (Saul Benjamin) (3 - 67) and the apostle John Bar Zebedee (1 - 100) both being UNTRUTHFUL when they both called Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) "God" because our Lord and Savior Jesus said his Father is the only true God (John 17: 1 - 5 (3))? John 17: 3 - "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." Jehovah is your God, and He happens to be Jesus's God too! Jesus states that his Father is "the only true God"! There is only one God and Jesus ain't that God (John 17: 1 - 26 (1 - 5, 3), John 20: 1 - 31 (11 - 18, 17)) because God cannot have a God! John 17: 3 - And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. John 20: 17 - Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'" Jesus Christ Judah (8 B.C. - 33 A.D.) is a King, he is a Lord, he is the Messiah, he is the Christ, he is the Chosen One, he is the Anointed One, he is a prophet, seer, and revelator, and he is the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father Jehovah God (Yahweh Elohim Allah), and NOTHING MORE and NOTHING LESS!

You either get to meet one yourself which will be your personal witness that they exist or the next best thing is someone else who has witnessed them. The second scenario of having a second hand experience is there will always be that doubt like you have now. I was the same, when ever someone else claimed they were a medium or had contacts with angels or the afterlife I would have to either take their word for it or be dismissive or think they were delusional or even a crackpot. But let me tell you Jim, when it happens to yourself. You become a witness. Trust me if you saw what I saw you would know the truth. Unfortunately I could never convince you it happened. And I guess that's their way of doing things and I'm sure they have their reasons why not everyone in the world has a witness. ( I have my theory why angels don't appear to everyone) you know Jim, my personal experience was I guess for me. They only showed me what they wanted me to know. I didn't see the whole picture of the universe and the reasons and purpose of life. But I did have 2 Angels come to me at a time I wasn't expecting or even thought. They appeared to me when my life was in critical danger and they kept me alive and brought me through that moment. During that process I was shown things pertaining to life and the eternities and things pertaining to me that they decided I should see and know. Jim I don't know you but as I write this please have no doubts of what I am saying. These things actually happened to me. I have no reason to lie or make this up. I wish you health, happiness. love and a good life. I don't know your personal circumstances they may or may not be good. But whatever you are going through I hope you live your life with love, kindness and good deeds to your fellow humans on this planet.

I remember this. And I cannot, even THIS day, listen to it without crying. This talk, Bruce R. McConkie's last at conference, has the most powerful testimony I have ever heard. Simple and elegant, yet invoking the spirit so powerfully that it has been etched in my brain. When I first heard a particular album with "I Believe in Christ" by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, I stopped in my tracks as Bruce R. McConkie read the words to the song he had written the words to, and wept openly. I told my family that this was like a ghost coming back to deliver a special message.

Bruce R McConkie was an imperfect human being with faults like anyone else, but that doesn't detract from the beautiful testimony he bore here. You could choose to believe that he was using this as a chance to "pompously pontificate on Jesus in the blatant interest of elevating himself in some way", but I believe he was sincere. As an apostle it is his job to boldly testify of Christ. Even if you don't think he's sincere however, I don't see how anything he said warrants using the word 'disgusting' twice in the same sentence.

This testimony is what the gospel is all about from which all peoples can benefit from, i.e. being rescued by our loving Savior and Heavenly Father. alan this is pure fiction, just look thru your own church teachings and see how often they change course.us outsiders are only saying just look and be honest with yourself.are you able to look and just say openly I see that our church had been on so many tracks and theorys that we are like scrambled eggs?Joseph smith and the other early leaders PLAINLY said on the record that unless you believe and practice plural marriage you will never enter the celestial kingdom, can you at least admit to that? and now they say you can enter the celestial kingdom even though you don't believe in pologamy and have one wife, now can you say JS or your current leaders are in error?Heres another thing,JS and Hirum were masons and used the masonic symbols in their services in the temple and did you know the masonic emblems are Islamic? In the highest degrees in masonery you have to swear that allah is god and his messenger is mohammad?that's fact for people who don't know what masons believe past the 18th degree, believe me on this one.the under garments have mason symbols on them also.lucifer is the head of the masons and JS and Hirum were big adherants of the masons society.

@@ldgarland405 I see you mocking the concept of the Holy Ghost providing confirmation. I guarantee you did not watch this video with the sligtest of open minds. I suppose then, holding to your Evangelical standard, you should also mock the disciples in Luke 24:32, who didn't realize they were with the Savior, but recognized later their heart burned with them. You would also mock those converts in Acts 2:38-39, who were motivated to commit to Christ and be baptized after they were "pricked in their heart." You'd also have to dismiss Paul's mentioning of the fruits of the Spirit provide distinct feelings (Galatians 5:22), and ignored John when in 16:13 he said "the Spirit will guide you to all truth."

And someday learn the laws and principles of spirituality for them to stop understanding things literally but try to learn and understand the truth of life.

Robert. That is a beautiful sentiment. But why would you want someone to see the church. After all the church and its gospel doesn't save anyone. Only Jesus has, and can do that. My hope is that one day the LDS church openly and publicly and completely owns up to all the lies, deceit, and contradictions they have done in the name of Jesus. That will truly be a day the spirit of Jesus walks among all men.

Bruce was not a racist; he just misunderstood and gave a personal opinion as to why through the ages certain races in this life were denied the priesthood for a time (just like in the Bible when only two of the tribes of the house of Israel were given priesthood authority). I notice that the commentators here who would like to take the easy road explaining a complicated issue that the brethren struggled with -- by painting racism -- have omitted Bruces' other quotes on the subject. Bruce was part of the apostles that were going to change the stance without revelation but were stopped. When the revelation came he admitted he was intellectually wrong in his musings and was glad the ban was lifted and that his ideas were wrong. This racism-baiting is all so strange when it is the Mormons that have the noblest view of all people when they say all of us are the progeny of Almighty God (making us literally family or brothers and sisters both physically and spiritually), and that irrespective of limitations in this life (like gays having to wait to have a family with biological children), like not holding the priesthood, that in the eternities nothing can be withheld. This life is short in comparison. Mormons are mocked and told that we blaspheme when we say even men of color are destined to become like God just like anyone else can. The key is to focus on revealed truth via revelation and not personal critical analysis.

The Ancient Hebrews never denied the priesthood on account of race. I defy you to prove from the Bible any claims Blacks were cursed with the Mark of Cain? If any cursed existed (which it didn't) Christ's death would have wiped it clean.

Funny the early church denied the priesthood to nobody. There has been a continuous Christian presence in Ethiopia since the First Century. Anglican, Orthodox, Coptic and Catholic Churches do not deny the priesthood to anybody. Desmond Tutu was ordained a priest in apartheid South Africa by the Anglican CHurch in 1960. Eighteen years before racial equality was brought to the LDS. If Desmond was not to be ordained why did not God forbid it?

the important thing for the present moment is that all worthy men can hold the Sacerdocio (Priesthood), that's all that matters. The Lord revealed this revelation to President Spencer W. Kimball in His own due time. Elder McConkie was not a racist, he doesn't have to justify his views to anyone

Brad James The Lord revealed this revelation to President Spencer W. Kimball in His own due time. The Mark of Cain curse is not Biblical, LDS leadership sought to justify their racism with false doctrine. You lied.

Well it is a revelation from God as pointed out here: Official Declaration 2 The Book of Mormon teaches that “all are alike unto God,” including “black and white, bond and free, male and female” (2 Nephi 26:33). Throughout the history of the Church, people of every race and ethnicity in many countries have been baptized and have lived as faithful members of the Church. During Joseph Smith’s lifetime, a few black male members of the Church were ordained to the priesthood. Early in its history, Church leaders stopped conferring the priesthood on black males of African descent. Church records offer no clear insights into the origins of this practice. Church leaders believed that a revelation from God was needed to alter this practice and prayerfully sought guidance. The revelation came to Church President Spencer W. Kimball and was affirmed to other Church leaders in the Salt Lake Temple on June 1, 1978. The revelation removed all restrictions with regard to race that once applied to the priesthood. Now I have heard so many Mormons on their pious soap boxes say that I is the only true church of Jesus Christ. Yet when revelations from God are needed to right the wrong that was originally done through revelation in his name. How can you honestly say that it is the "true" church of Jesus when it has taught the opposite of what Jesus taught. The LDS church has a history of this in fact. They had a sudden "revelation" about polygamy to keep the Government from closing the church and arresting everyone. Even your beloved Brigham Young (who they named their prestigious university after) gave a revelation that if one of the chosen of the lamb mixes his seed with a black the penalty was death on the spot. Come on man.

All you so called Christians have no idea of the Lord Jesus Christ and HIS Atonement as stated by this Modern day Apostles of the same. Repent & know there is a living prophet today & is preparing our world for HIS second coming. The Book of Mormon is the key, the evidence that cannot be refuted by any MAN. Search it & know God our Father has restored HIS gospel & true Christian church on the earth with a prophet & 12 Apostles. Jesus Christ is Lord & only through HIS grace are we saved.

Such a precious & truthful testimony, given by an apostle of the Lord!!! For anyone who denies the testimony born here in this video, I would say that you should humble yourself & pray unto God the Heavenly Father in the name of His only Begotten Son in the flesh if these things are true! If you ask in sincerity of heart as I have done, then you will receive a testimony of the truthfulness of these things! For any who refuse to do that & wish to bring contention from Satan here amongst those who have gained witness of these things from the Holy Ghost, then I shall strive to ignore you! However, being a daughter of the true & living God, I will feel sad for any who are so blinded by Satan's deceit & strive to cause contention!

He printed that before he had approval from the First Presidency, which he really did not have to have. When asked to revise it he did so immediately so as to not offend the Catholic church and a few others. I have a first copy, and true to heart, Elder McConkie called a spade a spade. He was not known to mince words.

This is one of the most transcendent events that has ever been captured on video. A witness of Christ communicating in a nearly perfect verbiage in the modern form… Christ atoned for us. I know this to be true, through prayer and deep recollection, and this modern revelation only drives my earthly ambition to deepen my understanding of God and his eternal teachings.

Listened to this talk while I was puking my brains out in the bathroom, wishing I was dead. The last scripture he quoted was what I read while in the temple yesterday. Tender mercy. Still wish I was dead due to the pain, but tender mercy nonetheless
