I see so much of Orwell and Carlin. Bruce Soord you are an amazing musician. I love your consistency in the theme of every album, the sound, the lyrics and the projection. Your concept videos are life-enhancing experiences. And Dissolution has just addressed the conflict I was personally relating to. Thank you for this amazing work. And a special shout-out to Gavin Harrison. What would Progressive be without you, oh you absolute genius!! Long live Pineapple Thief

Sounds like he's describing Fear of a Blank Planet. Love this group, I think SW is a big influence on his latest work. As well as GH. Can't wait for it.

It's funny because I always felt that TPT lyrics were about human relations and feelings, not about politics

Bruce Soord is so much more likeable than Steven Wilson. I mean, don't get me wrong, i admire Steven Wilson and don't wish to compare the two bands, as such but as individuals / sonic artists, Bruce is so much more uninhibited, earnest and down-to-earth. Steve comes across as being a little opaque and "tightly wound" (to pun from an older Pineapple Thief release). And oh, Soord sounds way better on the microphone than SW does. Loving all The Pineapple Thief releases since Gavin. Keep them coming, men!

Thats so true, i think. Steven is no doubt a very talented and praiseworthy musician. So is Bruce. It is just about an opinion on their persona. Steven feels like a difficult person to deal with. But, Bruce. awee.. he is such an easy going and humble man. :) I really like the way he talks.
