Just so we're clear, the song is about a man who was screwed over here, sent to Vietnam, then screwed over when he came home and not allowed to work at the refinery. So he burned it down and went on the run. This is a patriotic song, but not in the God Bless America vein.

Served in Iraq in 03, love my country, love this song for its true meaning. When you get back, you're all alone. I was fortunate after 10 years of being back to finally get a fair job in construction. Life's a bitch especially when you're young and volunteering.
