What a night. Actually emotional watching this back after all these years :') Went to the set thinking "I'm not sure I like Springsteen". How very wrong I was.... I came away LOVING the boss.

+MalaTemporaCurrunt His reasoning is stupid, but Clerance was clearly not feeling well. Nearly the entire tour he always had a chair next to him, so that he could rest while not playing his solos, and sometimes even while he played those.
@comper45678 жыл бұрын
+MalaTemporaCurrunt @Mala. no offense to you at all, but Clarence started a downward trend in every Bruce concert from 2003 on. i had the pleasure of seeing him several times in the early 70's at the Boston Music Hall. he was shear power. absolutely no comparison to what you see in his later performances. Steve is right. Clarence was a shell of what he used to be. let me give you an example. go to Bruce live in east berlin 1988. Paradise by the C. Clarence at his best. cousin Jake is fantastic, but can't approach the power of his uncle in his prime

I’ve listened to this song literally a thousand times over the years since 1975, and it STILL brings the goosebumps, the utter elation, the tears, and the absolute pride that I have having loved this man ever since I first heard him. This totally sums up a Springsteen gig. I’m emotionally fucking drained!! I love you Bruce

In 2008, a friend of mine lost his father when my friend was 14, his escape after his loss was Bruce's music. I watched this on TV, i got why he loved Bruce so much. There was a squad of us at school who were huge into him as a result. Myself and my partner went to see Bruce in Cardiff this year, my 3rd Bruce show, her first. After the show, my other half said to me 'I get it now, i get why you and your mates are so into Bruce' Still the best thing i've ever seen on TV

This is rock music by the absolute master. Bruce and the E Street have everything, power, precision music and sheer genius. Though it's hard watching these seeing the Big Man, and knowing he's no longer around.

Seger's good too with Hollywood Hills but Springsteen the boss really does. Mulholland drive, vomit by the side of the road nearly every day. Highway's jammed with broken heroes and tramps were born to run. Bruce Springsteen really does represent Los Angeles City California and the polluted beaches on our coast.
