My Mom just passed on Feb 4th :-( Most of her life she cared for others who were ill or recovering from surgeries. Having Bruce's music to turn to when I feel the worst, helps.

He was so close to his mother. His mom played a massive role in his life, introducing him to music. He always said she was always listening to top 40 radio, the current hits which made a big impact on his musicial journey. She also bought him his first guitar when she had very little money. It was awesome to see her at his shows, dancing with him. Having lost three grandparents to Alzheimer's and Dementia I know firsthand what Bruce and his family went through. RIP Adele.

Im a nurse in a nursing home. Music is so important to the residents. If you have a family member in a home, take in a cd player/ radio and keep it in their room. Put a note on it telling staff to put it on. Make sure the CDs are appropriate for their generation of music I've seen dementia/Alzheimer's residents come alive when they hear music. Most nursing homes do not play music for them.

It was a cold December evening in Asbury Park N.J. Max Weinberg 7, Bruce Springsteen Guest and Friends was the headliners at Convention Hall. At the entrance was a table, lets call it the will call window. As she handed you your ticket, the smile on her face said it all. That evening Bruce took to the piano and said the death of a rock n roll star is to write a song about your mother. He also debuted My City of Ruins, and a Christmas song. My understanding Bruces Mom also played Santa at the end of that show. God speed to the Legandary E Street Band and their families.

One concert, before the show, I saw her walking around on the floor, trying to corral the little ones I was pretty sure were Clarence Clemons' children! And I SO loved her in the video of Bruce's family ancestry, with her sisters, Bruce and Brian Williams! Bruce gave his little speech & you could see sweet Adelle mouth, "What'd he say?" It was so CUTE!! My heart is with the Springsteen family.

Rip Adele...🙏....many years ago, Bruce springsteen gave me the opportunity to make my mums day....in 1985 i attended a week long residential event hosted by the Prince's Trust, geared towards helping young people choose their career path....on the last day the then Prince Charles attended and a disco was set up in his honour....now i wanted to give my mum a surprise and asked the cameramen filming the event how I could get on TV....They said ask him (Prince Charles) to dance....The dj put Bruce's "dancing in the dark" on, my favourite song at the time , I thought to myself "it's now or never ", so I did ask him to dance and he did dance with me to this very song...my mum certainly got a surprise when she put the national news on and when she saw my photo of the occasion on the front page of The Times the next morning!..Thank you Bruce and King Charles for making my mums day and giving me my moment in the spotlight and very unique claim to fame..🤴..we love you Bruce...💜
