Bruce is still going strong even at the age of 70. He is touring the world and tens of thousands of people are watching. I've seen him three times live and they've been the best experiences of my life.

Love your reaction to this, it’s priceless! I’ve watched it three times. Great job and good for you knowing greatness when you see it. My buddy and I were witnessing this (listening to bootlegs etc) when we were 12 years old and knowing what it was and how special it was back then. It’s not uncommon for him to have younger fans now but back then it was. Keep it up!

That is The ‘BOSS’ at his best when he ran things ! His early works from the early ‘70’sthrough The ‘Darkness on The Edge of Town’ was when Bruce and The E Street Band. rocked out! Backstreet and Jungle Land are brilliant as well as Candy’s Room!

My first Bruce concert was on this tour and your video was like reliving that night. Concerts then were a low cost form of entertainment. Paid $7.50 for the ticket. I had heard his studio stuff and liked it but he was not my favorite artist. I was 17 years old and my favorites at the time were the typical two guitars, bass and drums lineups of the typical rock bands at the time. My reaction was exactly like yours. I smiled so much that night my jaw muscles were sore the next day. The Best thing resulting from this was it peaked my interest in the older music from the late 50's and early 60's which led to the wonderful journey of rock and roll and it's roots. From a 60 year old retired professional drummer, thanks for giving me a good happy smile and a trip down memory lane. Good job kid.

Great reaction man, Bruce really is an underrated guitar player. You should totally check out some more springsteen - Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out Live in New York City in 2000 is incredible. Not much guitar but man he plays the crowd like an instrument. Greatest live performer ever.

Most people are clueless as to how good of a guitarist he is. It's not his main thing, his message is in the vocals and overall musical completion. When he does solos, they rip, guitar, piano or even harmonica. Just keep listening.

I last saw Bruce and the band in 2016 (I've seen them around 30 times) at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The show clocked in at just around four hours with no real intermission. He was 66 at the time and the rest of the band of similar age. Through the years he hasn't lost any energy, okay maybe he can't hang upside down on the mic stand anymore and rarely plays multiple nights in a row, but he and the band play their hearts out every time. Oh, and a couple nights before, I saw them play a show that was only a couple of minutes shorter.

Amen! The '78 Prove it all Night from Capitol Theatre is EPIC! The intro is longer and even more savage than this version. The video is in black and white which just adds to rawness and intimacy of the performance. A must see on KZbin.

A lot of folks commenting "That's why he's called The Boss!". (That's not actually why). Early on when he was playing mainly NJ and NY clubs, he would take it upon himself to collect the pay from the bar/club owners and distribute it to the band members. They started calling him "the boss" sarcastically amongst themselves. But eventually it got out and fans got a hold of the nickname, not realizing the reason behind it...and that Bruce didn't like it. By then it was too late.

From the POV of someone from Bruce's generation, today's young people have and do a lot of stuff we did we not have as kids but genuine good music performed by actual musicians is just not embraced as a whole by this generation. Music created on iPads seems to satisfy most 20-year-olds today. It's a loss but change is the only constant.

You are doing yourself a massive disservice if you do not investigate Bruce's music further. He is the GREATEST musical artist of all time in my opinion, and he has the greatest band behind him. There are better versions of Prove It All Night (Live) out there too, with better solos. I highly recommend you check out The Ghost Of Tom Joad Live, with Tom Morello. If you do, tie some string tightly around your socks, so they don't blow off. There is a whole plethora of Bruce's music that will expand your mind and will probably make you obsessed with him (seeing as you obviously appreciate great music!). Albums to check out would be Darkness on The Edge of Town, and The River. If you like those, then go further. If you like guitar solos then check out the live version of his song Incident on 57th Street (Live at Nassau Coliseum).
