I have the exact same skidloader. I bought it from a buddy after he replaced the motor with another Kohler 18 hp. I fixed all of the lights, put new tires on it this past sum wemer, put a new seat on it last month, and fixed 2 blown hydraulic lines. I also left the seat belt and safety bar intact. For good reason. Then last week my wife came and told me that the starter received a death sentence. Thankfully the fricken engine has to be removed to replace the starter. Damn Kohler. Had to fix it right away because my wife uses it for the horse stables. 🐎 The thing is a little beast! It's skittish as all hell but when you figure out it's capabilities, you can do a lot with it. I also have a larger bobcat that I am putting an Isuzu reefer motor into. Then I have a New Holland LX885 skidloader at the dairy farm. Years ago, when my son was riding with me in the other bobcat, we went to retrieve a large square bale of hay from the far end of a hay field. On the way back, my son asked me why we had to have the seat belt on. At exactly the same time we hit a pothole which resulted in the back end of the loader going into the air and the front end slamming into the ground and my head bashed into the console. If we did not have the seat belt on, we would have been thrown out and crushed. After I regained my bearings, I said Mark; that's why we wear this seatbelt. Stay safe my friend.

hey bruce if your still worried about your oil drain line just run a 90 then the straight fitting which will get it up off the exhaust also be careful them mini skidsteers are like riding a wild bull always trying to throw ya off and run you over

Hey Bruce if you still have the 440b and the hydraulic still have air in the system remove the return line from the pick up line. I rerouted my return to the top of my oil tank. It’s just a horrible design and you will never get the air out of the system. Mine works like it should now.
