If you notice when Nick repeats "Beat Box Off" to Ben, then Ben breaks up laughing, it's because when Ben first said it, he accidentally left out "box" in "America's first beat-box-off". They edited in a re-recorded version for television, but the reactions were real. Hope you go back and watch the rest of the Sing-Off episodes with Home Free (and Filharmonic). And watch the ones like you just watched, with pre-performance clips and judges comments

Thank you so much. This was a blast from the past. There was so much going on, with the bet box off, and the fight scene in the background. Sometimes there is so much going on that you miss a few things. These two groups were fantastic together. I was sort of surprised when Filhamonic's placed third, I thougt they were better than that, and of course Home Free was the front runner since day one, so not surprising they one. But they DID work hard for that honor, it wasn't just a walk in the park for them, either. I love watching your reactions, so bring it on!

Through the magic of KZbin you can see the Sing Off episodes from season 4 even though you didn’t record them at the time!!! That’s how I re-discovered Home Free. It’s fun just to go back and watch them occasionally.

Yup. But all the subsequent shots were left intact. Going back to watch it, knowing that, is even more fun -- Nick gently correcting him, Ben realizing what he said and trying to wrap things up quick before he dies of mortification, the beatboxers' nonplussed reaction, and Shawn repeatedly declaring how much he loves Ben... they all take on new and hilarious meaning.

Filharmonic is a good group too, I think they made it to the final 4 that season. Voiceplay is good, they were in season 4 too, but they got cut about midway through. I enjoyed your reaction. Thanks!

Just seeing your reactions now-loads of fun! FYI, The Filharmonic has a recurring gig on the James Corden show. Whenever he has a Riff-Off, they provide the backing tracks. The first time I saw them with Corden, I was delighted to see that they are still together and performing! Check out their clips-they did a Pitch Perfect one with Anna Kendrick, a Broadway one with Neil Patrick Harris, and several others.
