KZbinOHANA... First off, mahalo to everyone who just subscribed to my channel! Much love and Aloha to all of you. Secondly, I apologize about da video edit. I didn't realize my last edit didn't correct the whole thing. I'm talking about the centering of the video to my face! It's being covered. Third, I just started reacting to Home Free so i'm now just finding their videos. I'm only 4 months into this whole KZbin reaction field thing so I'm still learning. Mahalo for your patience. If I see something that interests me based by title and thumbnail or many of you my viewers will push a certain link, chances are I will react to it. I DON'T read the comments or the description before I watch just so my reactions are pure and genuine. Reading ahead might change my reaction. So yeah hehe.... Mahalo to all of you for your support, kind words, and encouragement! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Now you understand why the fries call him a freak of nature. He has won awards for his beatbox skills. Also he was named one of the best beatboxers in the country by his peers. Thanks and please keep the Home free reactions coming.
@caitlinseaton75465 жыл бұрын
I think what makes him truly amazing is that he doesn’t sound like he is beatboxing, he sounds like an instrument. Most a cappella beatboxers have a sound that, while amazing, sounds like someone imitating an instrument/sound machine. With Adam you can’t tell the difference.

Believe it or not he has gotten better over time. Some of his current show solos are pretty insane.

This was filmed in 2015, and since then he's added so much more to his act. This is why he's referred to as "A Freak Of Nature" By the fans, and why he was named the "Bestbeatboxer Of The World". Not just the U.S, but the world. I knew this would blow you away, I just wish you would have been able to watch a more recent one. But it's all good. Thanks, Sam. I can't wait to see what you react to next. I love watching new reactors get all excited....and shocked, by what these 5 amazing guys can do. But it's not always just the singing that's fabulous, during their concert video's Tim can be so quick-witted, and funny as all get out, too. They always include the audience in their wild antic's to. So entertaining.

Adam's talent and skills are world class, next level. I've watched his various solo performances, both older ones and newer, hundreds of times and I never get tired watching him. His performances are creative, exciting and electrifying. Within the Home Free performances, his beat boxing/vocal percussion gets over looked because he's so good at what he does, that people forget all the time that what they're hearing is a human person creating all the percussion vocally and not an actual drum kit. I adore this guy and his insane talent. He's been honing his skills for over 20 years and it shows. Someone once asked him how long it took him to learn to beat box and he replied, "I'm still learning." Thanks for a great reaction.

Have watched him live 5 times, watched him do this performance maybe 100 times online and every single time I sit here and shake my head. When you hear him live during the first song if you've never been, you swear they have instruments. Even I who had watched them many times the first time we went and my husband said I thought they didn't use instruments and I sat there so confused because it was like what????! I was so confused and then realized they really are that good with their voices! Wow! Thanks so much for this.

Tim Faust, the bass, has a 5 octave range. There are videos out there that demonstrate it. If you're interested just search for Tim Faust vocal range. He himself, and HF have both done some things with Peter Hollens that are fantastic as well. If you like The Hobbit series of movies check out Misty Mountains by Peter and Tim.

In an interview Home Free said the main rider on their contract is that the venue has to provide a s#!t load of towells so Adam (and the stage) can keep dry over the course of the show. Of course I'm gonna suggest a Home Free video for you to react to. Their cover of "Mayday" by Cam is a straight up rock/pop tune and like so many of their songs it's easy to forget that they don't use a rhythm section. They switch up the parts but to say any more would spoil the surprise.

So while the others have singing / vocal backgrounds, Adam majored in the trumpet. I highly suspect the double and triple tonguing techniques used in playing the trumpet have helped develop his beatboxing skills. Great reaction!

May I ask a question ❓ how old where you when you knew you wanted to play the drums.. sorry... when did you join your first group
@GrandmasGoneGamingLW5 жыл бұрын
Your face looks just like mine when I watch this. If I'm remembering correctly from something you said in another reaction I watched the other day, you are a drummer, right? Adam was a music major in college. His main instrument is trumpet, but all of the Rupp family can play just about anything, and he took drums specifically to be able to correctly perform his (chosen) beatboxing role, when he and Chris began Home Free 18 years ago. Now that you've heard that one, you need to watch one of the newer ones. He's changed things around a bit and has added some new stuff. Heidi Rancour does pretty much the best recording of concerts, live, and she seems to follow them around a LOT. The next two links are from a GREAT concert just this past June, and if you watch the entire playlist, you'll see some really fun stuff. Otherwise, you should really just watch the drum solo, because it's one of the best videos out there. I hope that some day you can go hear them live. I will tell you what everyone else does (that they're even better when you're THERE), but I know you won't EVEN know what we all mean, until you do get to go. If you get the chance, do NOT miss out! :-) Kearney, MO, 06/16/2018 (Complete Playlist--20 Videos) [Heidi Rancour] kzbin.info/www/bejne/hanXiJuZf9WSp80 Just Adam Rupp's Drum Solo from that Concert kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmnYXniYZ5V5r68
