Good job boys! 1 thing thought watching bottom 6, Boqvist was a really good fast 2-way skater. Not seeing him come back, but did like his game in limited time here.

I think Sweeney is going to sign a big fish like Lindholm at about an 8 mil AAV and then a tier 3 guy like Mantha for smaller money to replace Debrusk. The 2 of them combined will cost about 11 mil. That leaves the B's with about 12 mil in cap space of which about 8 will go to Swayman leaving us with 4 mil. If it was up to me, I'd go a little cheaper at Center and sign Stephenson which will be about a 6 mil AAV and put the bulk of the money into getting Guentzel. I think another legit scorer is more important than a 2nd line center like Lindholm. Stephenson is a lesser 2nd line C than Lindholm, but a 2nd line C nonetheless who'll come much cheaper leaving us extra money to fill holes.

The Bruins were probably praying that Michael Hage or Sasha Boisvert were going to fall to #25. When that didn't happen the other higher ranked centers still on the board suck as Cole Beudoin, Juluis Miettinen and Linus Erickson all project more as two-way, middle to box six, checking line guys. I'm not even sure they would have taken Jett Luchanko if he was there at 25 because he's not a sure fire top 6 center either as he's like Matt Poitras, where most scouts think he'll wound up as either a 3C or a Top 6 wing but not a Top 6 center in the long run The Bruins weren't going to take another John Beecher or Trent Frederic with #25, they were going to go with highest skill set upside available at center and that's exactly what they did The only center prospect still there at #25 with the potential to be a Top 6 scoring force if he develops was Dean Leterneau. The Bruins don't have that high ceiling potential with ANY PLAYER at ANY POSITION in their entire crap farm system ANYWHERE, let alone at center. And don't say Fabian Lysell Like Leterneau, Fabian Lysell was considered a boom or bust guy by many scouts. Right now he looks more boom than bust but the jury is still out, however, time.... It's running out on Lysell The argument can't really be made against taking Dean Leterneau where they did. Instead, it makes you wonder if the Bruins may have been better off considering moving Lysell and or the 1st round pick to acquire a more established 2c or Top 6 winger who can step in right now and deliver Top 6 scoring. But that's all moot now, they made the pick and Leterneau has a lot of upside, even if he's years away As for the other picks they made... No mater how many Bruins homers bring up the few late round lottery tickets that worked out for the Bruins over the years, so ye ole' "exception to the rule defense" 4th to 7th round picks in the NHL have a historic 12% or less chance of having real NHL careers. And homers other than Jeremy Swayman who was taken in the 4th round (AND goalies are almost always go in later rounds so calm down homers) The best Bruin Don Sweeney has drafted in rounds 4 through 7 going back to 2015 when he became GM? So the player with the most NHL games played? Oscar F.N. Steen 2015 was almost a decade ago and the best skater, so forward or d-man, the Bruins have produced via the draft since in rounds 4 through 7 since 2015 has been Oscar F.N. Steen So what to expect out of Elliott Groenewold, Jonathan Morello and or Luke Johansson? Um, both the NHL's own draft history as well as Don Sweeney's own draft history say... drum roll... not too much, if anything at all That's a wrap on the rest of the Bruins draft picks beyond Dean Leterneau Bruins Development Camp starts this week!!!

I find it hilarious the ppl that hate the korpisalo contract are the same ppl that want to over pay lindholm. Lindholm should instantly become the worst contract on the team I don't know how you ppl don't see he had 1 good season surrounded by goal scorers. We don't need to add another B-tier C we already have 2
