I just wonder when the flyers chant changed into the rangers/yankees chant. And if you dont know what im sayin, go back and watch games from the spectrum. Another reason why i have lost the feeling for the team. I was as hardcore a fan as anyone. But things are so not anything like what the flyers were. Even the fans dont know the flyers chant. Smh. All just sad really. That being said, this was a memorable series

2:19:17 Who puts there grandma in a car for a 5 hour drive to go see a hockey game? I have to admit, when Recchi scored that goal with 30 seconds left . . . I pretty much gave up hope for the series. I was so happy to be wrong. Because of this game, I did not give up on the Flyers in Game 7 when it was starting to look like that game was going to get away very quickly and the comeback would fall short. If the Flyers had won this cup (and God, they should've) it would have to rival the Eagles Super Bowl LII season as the greatest Philadelphia sports seasons of all time and, appropriately, as total underdogs with unbelievable resilience. Considering this was the year that the Phillies picked up Roy Halladay (who would throw a perfect game a month later and a no-hitter in the playoffs) and where coming off of back-to-back World Series appearance as "WFCs" in '08. The Miracle in the Meadowlands in December; Jackson's punt return. What an even more fantastic time of Philadelphia sports would that have been!

@@lukaz3336 Bruins should have beat the Blackhawks in 2013. If Campbell doesn't break his leg, and Bergeron wasn't playing with broken ribs and a separated shoulder, Boston definitely takes the cup. They lost like 2 close games in double OT, and blew game 6. If the Bruins win game 4 in OT, they would have gone up 3-1 and most likely won regardless of Injuries though. Blackhawks were really good no doubt, possibly the best they ever were in 2013. But injuries were the only thing stopping Boston after their comeback vs Toronto.

@@greysonG10 No they don't. Chicago dominated that season from start to finish. You're just putting out what if's. They lost multiple times in OT because they were not as good as Chicago. Not on paper and not on ice.

It’s been 12 years and this still makes me want to puke. Not even Super Bowl 42 stung THAT bad. THAT was just one game. This was four games, and the Bruins had a chance in at least two of them. And Tuukka Rask was TRASH in the last four games. That OT goal he let up was one of the softest OT game losers I’ve ever seen.

damn three finals appearances and one cup later this still hits huh? Can't say i have much pity for boston fans as a DC man but this one must've hurt pretty bad lol.

@@thomasriishojgaard5677 it was a THREE GAMES TO NONE LEAD. And we also saw the Red Sox go 86 years without a championship. The Bruins went 39 years without a title, and the Patriots were a laughing stock for the first 36 years of their existence.
