​@@wearebruit2150 While I understand your point and can't disagree, not giving your fans a way to listen to the music how they would like to is anti-consumer. True fans will support bands they like and when I see you live I will most definitely pick up a t-shirt or vinyl, you could even open a Patreon. I've been using spotify for over a decade It would be a lot of work for me to switch to downloading and storing all my albums and playlists just because I found spotify "unethical" (not to talk about how less convenient it would be). Unfortunately every major coorporation is nowadays, it's just the world we live in. Google, Apple, Microsoft... yet you're not going to tell me that you don't have an android, iphone, mac, nor windows PC ? Please give your fans the possibility to listen to the art you have created however it pleases them.

Hello, our choice was not easy indeed, and we are aware that some consumers like you support the bands they like through more direct means like concerts or bandcamp. But let's not lie to ourselves, in the new consumer habits of music and culture in general you are the exception. You tell me that our position is anti-consumer, I can understand this point of view. It is true that having access to all the music in the world for 10$ a month is very advantageous for consumers. As advantageous as buying jeans for $7 at primark... But what about the artist who gets 100$ for 1 million streams, who sees physical sales collapse, radio airplay disappear as tastes become smoother and smoother, and who has to release 1 track every month to stay well referenced in the algorithm and maybe have the chance to increase his visibility and get 110$ at the next distribution?for the artists It's a hostage situation that has become normalized. Of course we are forced to live in the modern world, use a smartphone and a car and we are not perfect but should that stop us from trying to change things and be better, more ethical human beings? Should I stop sorting my waste because I'm running on diesel? Anyway... In the meantime if you want to listen to our music you can find it for free on KZbin, or on bandcamp (i know is not perfect but you see we are reachable) or meet us on the real world and be sure we will use all the energy we get to play the best concert we ever played 🖤

While I can't say I agree with everything you say I most definitely will pick up some merch if you have a stand ! Physical sales and radio are already dead, just like DVD's with the arrival of Netflix, Prime etc. I realise how hard it is for bands nowadays but trying to make money off streaming seems like a strange strategy in today's world. I would have thought being on major streaming platforms would be worth the visibility alone. Better visibility = more fans no ? And more fans = more potential buyers for merch and concert tickets ?

"Trying to make money off streaming seems like a strange strategy in today's world. “ So you normalise the fact that distributing the fruit of long, hard and expensive work almost for free has become the norm and therefore we are guilty of not complying with this norm of "today's world". This is precisely what we are against. Just because it's normal doesn't mean it's right. It's a choice that was difficult to make because, as you mentioned, to do without these media to develop a project nowadays is almost impossible. But in the end we feel more in line with our values and it doesn't stop us from seeing our fanbase grow and the list of concerts planned too. Alternatives exist, like bandcamp for example. I'll tell you what, with the support we got from our fanbase on this platform we were able to pay back the production costs of this first album, and this will also allow us to finance the next one without having to lose the huge amount of money that the production of a rock record requires. This was not our goal. Far from it, but it shows that sometime there are virtuous alternatives I look forward to discussing this with you live at "chauffer dans la noirceur".

One of the most powerful songs I've ever heard! Thank you for giving it to the world so we can enjoy it. I respect the months that go into making a linear progression work over a long track length, as I've been working on a 9+ minute song that slowly builds to a big payoff. It's not easy to keep a song engaging for that long!

You're right It's really a big challenge to try to keep things mesmerizing on long format . Bringing enought info but not breaking the transe, going into the transe but not feeling asleep. it's a bit of a balancing act
