Remember, then is now, now is then, the future is now, all your dreams live today, tomorrow has not come, yesterday is long gone, it is called his-story, we can only live in the moment, not in a future that may never come, our time to shine is in the present day, tomorrow may never arrive on broken promises, made by people, we don't even know, destroying the world around us, for a future that has no promises, in the present time.

Thunderheart is a great movie, which bears lots of resemblances and indirect references to what happened in Pine Ridge in the 70's, and the following incarceration of political prisoner Leonard Peltier. IF you want to know the real truth about the FBI/Lakota war, I'd recommend you watch the movie 'Incident at Oglala', and read the book 'In the Spirit of Crazy Horse' by Peter Mathiessen. Put together with this movie, Thunderheart, they paint a pretty good picture of what really went down, and why Peltier is still locked up in prison to this day 46 years later.
